Ball gags, whoopee cushions, bondage gear and a copy of "Barely Legal" magazine...then when you find a room someone left open, sneak in and hide it in their luggage.

yeah... but what if you already have that in your luggage? oops.. was that TMI?

I agree.. I love the Dawn wash and toss.. my wife is always bringing down dawn in a travel bottle... so that's a great idea....

Don't forget ponchos! We get a bunch at the Dollar Store (2 for $1) then we can throw them away after the rain and throw a new one in the next day, instead of trying to fold it up again. Also great for KRR.

I would think that anyone who's been to WDW would think to bring ponchos.

With the accent on "bound." Mee-yow!

Whoopee cushion?!?!?!?....OMG! I'd be soooo embarrassed if they found that in my luggage.

We always bring a small bottle of malibu rum for mixing with the coke or juice.
Also, crystal lite packets as mentioned earlier, and also Emergen-C packets (I always tend to feel a cold coming on towards the end of vacation, so these stave it off a bit and give me some extra energy).
Probably the most unique thing we do is we go out shopping for a "scent" for the trip a few months ahead of time. Last time it was Bath and Body Works Energize scent. The trip prior to that was Bath and Body Works Lemongrass Sage.
We don't wear it until we get to WDW, but then we wear it every day on vacation. By the time you get home, if you ever inhale that scent, you will recall vividly your vacation.

On our last trip, I bought a box of band-aids in the dollar store that looked like brightly colored crayons. By the end of the trip, I had given every one of them away. It's amazing how quickly a cool band-aid stops a cranky crying child when he's bumped his finger or knee or just has an owie somewhere!!

Extra memory cards for the digi camera, and rechargable batteries/battery charger. I second the power strip....with two sets of rechargable batteries, four cell phones, and a lap top or two, we had a lot to plug in.

I do that too!

OK, some of these have already been mentioned, but...

1. Duct tape - you just never know how it will come in handy!!

2. A shoe bag that can hang up on a hook/rack. The cheap dollar store ones with clear pockets are great for organizing toiletries or even storing park maps, autograph books, etc. in between park visits!

3. We bring or own glow necklaces as well!! We use them for night parades or the Christmas party!!

4. A night light for the kids in the room. (And so we don't fall on the way to a middle of the night potty break  )

5. Little travel packets of Wet Ones - perfect for those messy, but delicious Mickey Ice cream bars!

6. A small pad of post-it notes to place over the sensor on the automatic flush toilets. My daughter hates those things and one always seems to go off while she's still sitting there. The post-it notes work like a charm.

Great thread, by the way!!

I will be bringing a portable shoe rack that hangs in the closet so we can store all of our toiletries, our shoes, and other random stuff to make space.

A great idea, just make sure you remove them after your little one is done- You would have no idea how many times I'd find an unflushed toilet with a post-it note over the sensor during my 4 months as a Custodial Hostess

Silverware! It is terrible to stay in one of the value resorts and get stuck with a crappy plastic fork & knife. Gotta have the real thing.

Anyone on ever had rum in their Dole Whips with the pineapple juice? It's a shame we can't bring rum in MK, isn't it? :D

Oh My Gosh!! We would never do that!! Yuck!! Actually, part of the whole bit is that we make a BIG production of removing it after she is done and well clear of the potty!!

As many of you probably remember I do not go to WDW with out a box of ziploc bags. I also make sure to take dish detergent for sippy cups, just like someone else said. I buy new toiletries (shampoo, toothpaste/brushes, etc) for my home, bring the 1/2 used ones on vacation and then throw them out before coming home. This helps make a little more room for the stuff we bought.

The best thing we did on our last trip was we all got new sneakers 1 month before we went. We made sure they were good and broken in before arriving at WDW. We kept the old shoes and brought them with us, just in case the good ones got all wet. After Kali, my son's sneakers were soaked for 2 days, luckily he had another pair. We then threw the old sneakers away too, before coming home.

I love this topic!

So here is what we do:

*Bring the single kool aid packets to add a little flavor to our water.
*Ship a box of snacks and stuff a few days ahead of time so it's at the hotel when we arrive and we save the room in our luggage.
*Playing cards to pass the time in line
*Stamps for the post cards to send back to friends
*ziplock bags
*A small bottle of advil for the afternoon headache
*chewing gum
*Washcloths

Great idea!!! I wish I'd thought of that back when mine were smaller! I may still use them because so many times when I put down the seat cover, turn around and "flush"
