they gave these tees out to all the epcot cast members back in october along with a 25th cast only pin, except the shirt was black.

And it said "the 21st century began October 1, 1982"

I like that they keep introducing new shirts, and I love the new 25th logo much more than the one used on 10/1/07.

Thank goodness for the XXL! As long as these aren't cheap, narrow, won't be able to wear after washing shirts, like my Anaheim Ducks Stanley Cup Champions shirt was, I'll certainly buy one ;)

That IS a good question... Does anyone know yet if these new shirts are printed on that thin, broken-in, super soft tee Disney has been using a lot lately? Because those soft/thin shirts are cut in a "vintage" fit that's about one whole size smaller than what the tag would lead you to believe.

The 10/1/07 shirts used a regular, true-to-size, non-flimsy shirt, and actually fits me, but those other retro shirts, like the monorail shirts and the vintage WDW globe logo shirt were WAY too small because of the "vintage" cut...

I don't like the el-cheapo vintage material and cut either. A small on me doesn't leave much to the imagination!

I bought the shirt today and it's a softer t-shirt but not a slim cut like some of the others. It's much nicer than the original 25th t-shirt IMO. The art looks crisper and the new logo is much nicer and placed in a more wearable location. I hope more retro styles are coming! Can someone say Dreamfinder or Horizons?

Plus I won't wear my 25th shirt....it's still sitting on the hanger in the closet.

I 100% agree with that! I paid $76 :lookaroun for my husband's on e-bay as a Christmas present. I don't think we'll EVER be wearing that one!

Please don't judge my IQ by the above price tag mentioned above.

You don't happen to recall the SKU number do you? :lookaroun

Tiggerific - if you call mail order and give them the sku (on the first page of this post) they should be able to translate that to the correct size.

PS - I wore this shirt out today and it really is super soft and fits well - not a "slim" cut at all.

PPS - I second a Dreamfinder shirt!!!!:D

Actually, those vintage-cut shirts are not cheaper than your standard size 100% cotton tee... if anything, they are a little more money. I work for a clothing manufacturing company, and next year, we are switching our shirts from the standard size to the slimmer fit (we do fashion wear for young men's, so thats why the switch).

I must be in the minority that prefers the vintage cut... :lookaroun

Hey, I'm a tiny woman! :animwink:

I could see Dreamfinder making an appearance in the future (when the attraction is refurbed), but I believe the only Horizons related merchandise would be a shirt with all of the old pavillion logos on it.

I was trying to explain to the lady that answered the phone that I had a SKU that I got online and it confused the situation immediately for some reason, it was my fault though. Anyway I never even gave her the SKU I described the shirt and told her it was at MouseGear and she promptly found it and described it back to me. So, you can try using the SKU in the photo just dont be dumb like me and try to explain where you found it. Good Luck!!
