T Shirt in Justin Timberlake Video?

Is Justin Timberlake wearing a vintage Epcot T shirt in his Senorita video? I always wondered. :lookaroun

I 100% agree with that! I paid $76 :lookaroun for my husband's on e-bay as a Christmas present. I don't think we'll EVER be wearing that one!

Please don't judge my IQ by the above price tag mentioned above.

I think we all *totally* understand...

Actually, those vintage-cut shirts are not cheaper than your standard size 100% cotton tee... if anything, they are a little more money. I work for a clothing manufacturing company, and next year, we are switching our shirts from the standard size to the slimmer fit (we do fashion wear for young men's, so thats why the switch).

I must be in the minority that prefers the vintage cut... :lookaroun

Hey, I'm a tiny woman! :animwink:

And I'm Big Helga?

It's not just a slimmer size that is a problem (although I must say it is tight across the chest) - it's the thin material. In 25 years I am sure our real vintage shirts will still be going strong and the pseudo-vintage will be tattered.

It does seem like people these days want to have this form-fitted figure in t-shirts ....I just want to be comfortable!

Thank goodness for the XXL! As long as these aren't cheap, narrow, won't be able to wear after washing shirts, like my Anaheim Ducks Stanley Cup Champions shirt was, I'll certainly buy one ;)

That IS a good question... Does anyone know yet if these new shirts are printed on that thin, broken-in, super soft tee Disney has been using a lot lately? Because those soft/thin shirts are cut in a "vintage" fit that's about one whole size smaller than what the tag would lead you to believe.

The 10/1/07 shirts used a regular, true-to-size, non-flimsy shirt, and actually fits me, but those other retro shirts, like the monorail shirts and the vintage WDW globe logo shirt were WAY too small because of the "vintage" cut...

I don't like the el-cheapo vintage material and cut either. A small on me doesn't leave much to the imagination!

What happened to the deal with Hanes? I was hoping that might improve the quality of the T's.

I've always found Hanes shirts to be very low quality. Of course, I guess they have different styles with varying qualities, but I don't remember ever having a Hanes made shirt that I felt was above average quality.

I wouldn't assume Hanes is a "quality" brand compared to the vintage shirts Epcot has for sale. IMO the vintage shirts have a higher perceived value than a Hanes t-shirt that you can buy at Walmart!

No! Don't take that in a bad way... Didn't mean to insinuate anything at all.

I feel like I float in a size small average tee. And the vintage cut helps with that problem. ;) True, the fabric is a tad thin, which can five it that cheapo effect. I'd rather spend my money on ebay and get a genuine vintage EPCOT Center shirt. Some of those shirts are pure gold!

 OH, I know. I was picking a JOKE. It's one of my favorite things to do - have a laugh. :D

Wish they had a WDW custom shop we could go on-line with. Wouldn't it be awesome if we could do like zazzle and choose our shirt, fabric, cut, color, sleeve preference, and image/logo preference and just press ORDER?

Somebody please tell me this shirt is available in 2XL!!!

By the time we made it to Mouse Gear back in October on the day of Celebration 25, all of the 2XL shirts were gone.:(

I refused to walk away without a shirt so I settled and bought an XL. I was able to wear it somewhat comfortably the day I bought it but as soon as we got home and washed it I very quickly realized that I wouldn't be wearing it again anytime soon. Ok, I guess I could wear it, but I would look like Buddha wearing a ladies baby tee.:lookaroun

Trust me, NONE of us want to see that happen.:D

I hear ya on that one Fizzle.I cant stand a tight shirt.I only wear 2 x too.

Since im soooo Buff and ripped I need the xtra room for my Guns.

Ok well, will you believe me more if I said I need 2x since my wife of 17 years feeds me too good?

Had a feeling, but I just wanted to make sure. :D You know how some things can get misconstrued online...

That sounds like a WONDERFUL idea! Like an On-Demand service for making shirts specifically with vintage logos (or even current ones, or what have you) with quality graphics and tees you can choose. Technically speaking, if we had the designs of the vintage shirts in a good resolution image, can't we just do that on Zazzle? :lookaroun

Just sayin... it could work. :animwink:
