Doesn't take long for any mention of a probable national pavilion to become a thread where everyone shares their opinion of what national pavilions they'd like to see.
Let’s start another rumour just to remind other sites the news is usually here first (just teasing, Tom )
Du du dee dur, du dh derrrr, Du du dee dur, du du d h s....
After all, I did post this last year:

New National Pavilions
- Brazil: there will be a possible new national pavilion, likely to be Brazil
(2021?) (2022?)in 2022 [here] with possible attached attraction/ride [chance of an attached attraction down to more than likely not than likely]- after Brazil, Spain is the next contender (a long shot) for a pavilion. [weak]
- or maybe three new pavilions by 2025 [long term plans always iffy]
- and maybe India is one of them [here]
So no Indy water ride but the stunt show stays (in some form)?
Edit: I reread @MisterPenguin's rumor tracker and there could be a new Indy ride that isn't based on Shanghai Pirates, so that must be what is coming to DHS (eventually).

India is part of Asia....Pipe dream here....but wouldn’t it be great if...replace Dinoland USA with An India land, featuring the Jungle Book boat ride, and retheme the existing Dinosaur ride to INDIA-na (see what I did there) Jones and the Temple of Doom, which just so happens to take place in....wait for it....India. (Knowing the children shacked and getting whipped in a cave, drinking blood and tearing out someone’s heart through their chest probably wouldn’t be on the table).
India is part of Asia....
DAK’s Asia is mostly represented by India and Nepal.Obviously....but not exactly the sole focus of that land today (Asia), and given Asia is a bridge away from Dinoland today, is an India mini-land (or expansion of Asia) next door all that far fetched?
D&D: Disney Parks Edition. For now. On a daily roll of 5-11 on four six-sided dice, they change their minds. A roll of 4 or 24 is a budget cut.
How many places in WDW represent the US of A?DAK’s Asia is mostly represented by India and Nepal.
Having a separate India makes no sense.

Because India at Epcot would be about meeting Indians to learn about Indian culture? Asia at DAK is about meeting real and/or broken mythical animals from Nepal and India. Despite Joe Rohde’s 213 research trips, it’s not truly a cultural awakening.Agreed. Why would you build an entire pavilion for a ride that would fit FAR better in a different park? Plus, that other park could actually use some IP-driven rides.
How is the one Indian dish at Yak & Yeti, Chicken Tikka Masala?Because India at Epcot would be about meeting Indians to learn about Indian culture? Yeah, the idea that they couldn’t “do” Africa because of DAK never sat well with me. Quite a few cultures in there to ignore. But let’s add another European nation, please! How is the one Indian dish at Yak & Yeti, Chicken Tikka Masala?
I agree, btw. I guess it's because I've always thought of India more in terms of the southern plains than the mountainous northern border states. I also agree that DAK thematically focuses on the animals, not the people.
I also wouldn't want to rule out Indonesia or any country in Africa due to overlap.

Yeah, I'd love it if Disney could figure out a way to turn World Showcase into the theme park incarnation of Parts Unknown. Or maybe create a new land in the park with smaller incarnations of each country, reducing the capital expense and allowing for 20-50 cities/countries, each with one shop and one restaurant. Maybe in Disney Springs? Not practical but I'd love it!Yeah, the idea that they couldn’t “do” Africa because of DAK never sat well with me. Quite a few cultures in there to ignore.
