I guess I didn't know there were two (or remember). Whatever the version was just before stitch. With the guy up in the rafters who gets "caught"... that version.
Back to the OP's topic, and initial subsequent conversation, don't expect any huge MARVEL in-park attractions until the contract with Universal and IOA expires, unless the Disney contract has an override. Find a date on that, and you're probably going somewhere.
Tomorrowland is a very good idea/guess, but why would Marvel be involved? (Enlighten me if I'm wrong on that one.)
Oh dear Lord Jesus Christ in the sky, don't get the battle of the buses started again. Find the recent thread on bus wraps in WDW to see what I mean there. Bus + Wraps + Advertisement - Logic - Common Sense = That thread. I gave up on READING it. A reply to it would have caused a total meltdown which would eradicate the BAH in mere seconds.
Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen the original version. Surely you have the 1994 version in an Ultimate Tribute somewhere Martin? I would love to see it.

I've seen all versions. The last version was tight. Really impressive micro management on the part of Eisner to keep ordering changes until it was polished. Too bad Eisner would later have a change of heart and have it replaced with Stitch!

Thought I'd resurrect this thread for some disappointing news. Just read on Twitter that the first question brought up at the shareholder's meeting was about Figment and Dreamfinder. The response? No plans at this time to resurrect the pair together in an attraction, although the Walt Disney Company is very pleased in the Marvel Comic Figment sales

Assuming it was actually pushed back to "coincide with something to do with the theme park in May." It is being released the week of the 24 hour events on both coasts. Not sure how they could possibly tie the two together, but it at least coincidentally coincides with a major event planned.

Since we know Guardians of the Galaxy are usable in WDW, you could have a standalone attraction for them in MK's Tomorrowland. Or, for that matter, you could have a Big Hero 6 one.
I'm not expecting either, but they would be allowed and could fit in with the theme of TL.

Even if Disney had plans and were in development on an Imagination refresh and were gearing up to announce it tomorrow, a question at a shareholder meeting today is not going to make them change their minds on the spot. The answer to the "Do you have any plans to...." question will always be no.

Then why the heck did they get our hopes up with all of this Dreamfinder merchandise we've been having? Now I'm more worried that the ride's gonna become an Inside Out attraction.

For Nostalgic reasons I suppose...It's like if they hype up for Inside out to be put in Cranium Command in a Pavillion that lost all of it's identity to be a Health Pavillion..

This is discouraging news to say the least. There still is hope, I'm certain. But the most recent Inside Out trailer was a little scary in the "Imagination Land" section. A purple imaginary creature who lives there? Sounds fishy.
Just curious but do people still like figment? And does anyone even like that ride? I love figment and the ride so I am certainly wishing they do not go away.

I think people love what the character was and what he stood for. It seems that the majority of people are very disappointed in the current version of the ride BECAUSE of what it used to be. It's a darn shame. The whole thing. But apparently Figment merchandise has an extremely steady purchase rate, so people have most certainly not forgotten about him.
