Start with the greatest imagination ever- Walt Disney, incorporate the other genius he associated with, bring back scenes from original rides that are no longer but still adored by so many of us, keep figment, dream finder (Walt was a dream finder)... Please include all of the Ingredients to make something outstanding and timeless that all of us will love . And also have great music to inspire as well... Really stir up lots of emotion and aim to inspire and motivate!! Just like Walt did and still does and always will- timeless...
I will say it again, call it " How to be like Walt Disney or at least dream like he did...
A tribute of sorts to all the great imagineers that have inspired us so much.Epcot needs something to inspire and attract the children. Magic kingdom is always the most popular park! Why?
Bring it to Epcot in this attraction!
Leave us inspired and to think
And dream big....

One of my friends is a Disney Ambassador, and he said top-execs were walking around Imagination! in Epcot the other day. He told me there is the potential for the Imagination! pavilion being re-vamped/re-done again to reflect Heinz Doofenschmirtz as the central figure of the ride- using both his elaborately bad "inators" and real education to provide a new ride opportunity for guests. At the end would be not only the hands-on area for people to try out his "inators" in a 3-d environment (think Toy Story Mania), but there would also be his Lab where you can purchase all different flavors of the drinks they are currently testing around World Showcase.

Anyone else have any more on this? I think It's brilliant if it is true. If I hear more from my friend, I'll be sure to send updates.
NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate Phineas and Ferb

P&F do represent the Imagination pavillion but there's also JII to keep. I'd suggest replacing Captain EO with a P&F movie or something.
But the World Showcase thing is still there, so...?

A few things wrong with the idea.

1. P&F have peaked. It is successful in a similar way Kim Possible was. Granted merch is stronger but lasting power is similar. Once the show is full of re-runs it will not have the lasting power as others have already pointed out in this very thread. We are not talking about a Spongebob or Simpsons kind of run here.

2. The idea would imply something substantial to happen to Disney working on an attraction. We all know the likely-hood of that happening as it never does.

3. To counter point "2" that I listed it would likely not be a substantial to rush the product out while merchandise is still making money and the show is somewhat relevant to the people. The main thing that would be quick changing would be to just change the media in the video segments and lay different props around. Not much would ultimately change in order to get such a project approved.

People we are talking about the imagination pavilion here. My wife has been to Epcot three times and didn't even know it existed. P&F makes this a headliner for my family. And don't talk about P&F's staying power because only the people on this forum even know who figment is.

Even more reason to restore him and Dreamfinder to a refurbed Imagination and make them the icons for Epcot.

If Figment didn't draw crowds before what should they dump a bunch of money into him so he can draw no crowds again. WDW wants 2013's kids to want to go to Epcot and right now that isn't happening. So change one of their family ride to bring it into this century doesn't bother me. Hey it's not like they are killing King Kong and Jaws like some people.

I don't understand why so many people complain about Disney not doing new things or when they try to redo a pavilion/attraction that is empty and has been for years, get all upset on what they have for ideas. Isn't something new better than nothing at all? Sometimes we need to let go of the past and live in the future. Again, Walt was not about stale ideas, he tested the limits and tried things no one had done before... IE, Matterhorn.

I stand by my previous thoughts. Figment is classic Epcot. Update it, but leave Figment in the park!!

As for the 3-D movie, I think it's past time for Michael Jackson to go. Wall-E would be a perfect fit in Epcot if a good 3-D movie could be made with Wall-E.
