Did they really keep the "Disney's electrical parade" sign on the drum? Or did they change it back to "Main Street electrical parade?"

It was put together well. The music, floats...everything. It was awesome!!! You are in for a real treat for Summer Nightastic! Yes, it's still announced as The Main Street Electrical Parade. :D

Hmm, that is sad. It's not a huge deal but it would have been better if they'd changed it. They do what it takes to send it from DLR to WDW but don't bother with the drum, its kinda sad. But im sure it will be a great addition for the summer.

It's better than what I thought we would get, but, come on, insert the "Walt Disney World proudly presents..." intro. :)

Has any one heard if this will stay longer than Aug 14??? We get in on the 15th and i really want to see it. What are the changes this will be extended??? PLEASE OH PLEASE!!!!!!

I know its stated here and there that its only to stay till august but any word if possibly it'll go into say SEPTEMBER? I'm hoping we'll be down there Sept 15th and I love to see that...Never have !

I cant' WAIT to see it!! Did the announcement say "The Magic Kingdom Proudly presents" or "Disney proudly presents?" and was it the new guy's voice or was it "The Voice of WDW" Himself, Jack Wagner?

And don't forget the old spiel about "...thousands of sparkling lights!"

I can hear the music now... (is that a good thing? -- oh, no, I will hear it in my head ALL day...) ;) :lol:

It would be worth it to hear just the opening again ... I remember me and my younger brother sitting on the curb waiting for it to start ... then following the eagle at the end. I hope it stays past the summer. :D

Does anyone know if the scrims on MS will be down in time for Summer Nightastic?

WOW, that was amazing!! The Pete's Dragon float was so cool.....

We were lucky enough to see the Main Street Electircal Parade many times as a kid and also when it returned in 2001. We are going this winter and wish they would keep it around for a while. They went through so much work to transport it and disassemble/reassemble, you'd think they would run it a little longer than a few months. Oh well, everyone who gets to see it....enjoy it! The opening music is absolutely EPIC!
