Always a pleasure debating with a grown adult using gif's to get their point across.Apology accepted!
Are you Nick or Charlie?
Someone's never heard of the word liability. Why won't Disney use this? The same reason that they never bothered to have their own police force, even though the RCID charter allows them to. The same reason Disney security vehicles have yellow strobes (instead of white or blue). LIABILITY.
Not the same type of monitoring, and also I'm well aware.
You have no idea how cheap Disney is.
No, this is reality.
THIS is fantasy land:
And as always, GOOD AFTERNOON!

Liability? Sure.
I'm done. Enjoy living in oblivion.
Good afternoon!
Your understanding of facial recognition is not aligned with the realities of the technology. The concept is old. Reliable systems with high efficacy really are not there, especially when it comes to people who are not white men. You’re demanding a logical fallacy, to disprove a negative. There is no evidence of Disney using the technologies you claim which you twist to being proof because there is no evidence that they are not. You’ve also made other claims easily shown to be false (the helicopters overhead are private tours not affiliated with Disney).Yes they ended the public test......
So they must not be using it at all......
My mistake.
Good grief.
Disney has nothing to loose and everything to gain from using this tech. It runs it self.
Unreal people.
Your own cell phone is keeping tabs and listening to you.
Disney is too cheap to use old software to track and monitor its patrons.
That's a fantasy land.

Private tours over the kingdom.....interesting indeed.Your understanding of facial recognition is not aligned with the realities of the technology. The concept is old. Bingo. Liability. Privacy. Data protection. And more. It’s a possibility, but this is the company that won’t do full finger recognition for these very reasons let along facial rec.Someone's never heard of the word liability.
I could not find any tours advertising flights into the MK......just glimpses.Your understanding of facial recognition is not aligned with the realities of the technology. The concept is old. Your previous claims were that all of the airspace over Walt Disney World was closed. You also claimed that helicopters seen over the parks were actually Disney security. They may be a side story but they speak to your credibility as a source of information regarding Disney’s security apparatus. You posted an article to a fake new site as evidence of your claims.I could not find any tours advertising flights into the MK......just glimpses.
Sorry how was I proven wrong about the airspace again?.......
This is a side story to what we talking about....
If you love to go back and Gollum through my posts you will see I was referring to the Magic Kingdom specifically. Not all of Disney property as it did not exist when they were given autonomy over that air space. Something that was never done before for any park in NA.Your previous claims were that all of the airspace over Walt Disney World was closed. Next time you are in the parks look up for the helicopter, that is doing sky surveillance and thermal imaging.
WDW owns the airspace above all of their properties in FL.
Those can NOT fly into WDW airspace as it is private. They can view property from the edge.
There they are, from just a few pages back. Took all of a minute to find.If you love to go back and Gollum through my posts you will see I was referring to the Magic Kingdom specifically. So how was a proven wrong. I suppose the Washington Post is a fake news site?
Do you have any credible American news papers anymore?
Thinking about it whatever they use would be subject to GDPR as they sell directly to UK/EU customers. So if someone from Europe was banned for life all Disney would have to scrub the data on that person either at their request, or within a 'reasonable' amount of time. That would include any kind of facial recognition or biometric data.
Whilst they could use the 'reasonable amount of time' argument to keep certain bits of data for a long time, if the person simply requested their data was removed based on them being banned and never intending to visit again they'd have to oblige. Said person could theoretically buy a ticket on their UK/EU site (remember they _shouldnt_ hold any details at that point to stop them), then rock up at the gates, and if it turned out they still had records of them being banned, Disney would then be liable.
Potential money making options there for anyone stupid enough to get banned
No need. Magic Band+ implants a microchip into your wrist that they can use to track your movement within a 10 mile radius of every Disney park worldwide.….are they not doing the cattle branding burn mark anymore?
When Adam got banned he explained they took his finger prints.
They “own“ nothing. The FAA restricts the airspace above the MK and EPCOT resort areas below 3000 ft. The boundary actual cuts through the southern end of World Showcase. Anything outside of that is open to usual considerations (although the amount of times an Epcot show has had to E stop the AmAd laser due to incursions at the north end is huge)WDW owns the airspace above all of their properties in FL.
There is a big difference between Disney measuring the size and shape of your fingertip and taking your fingerprints. When you enter using your tickets or AP it is simply comparing the size and shape to the file it has. There are no actual fingerprints involved.Wait you mean Disney had his fingerprint already on file through his willful submission for passes, right??
There is no way Disney physically grabbed him and brought him in a room and held his hand down to get prints.......yes, I know you're not claiming that but nothing remotely close to that happened, right??
