If you could add any country to Epcot?

(Not sure if this question has been asked)... But I'm curious if you could add another country to Epcot's World Showcase what country would you want???

I've always thought that they should have Spain, and maybe that Equatorial Africa pavilion that was in the original plans.

I would want something that was unique, that most people don't travel too. Maybe somewhere like Greenland. Russia would be interested too because they have a lot of history... plus a replica of the Kremlin would be kinda neat.

The Acropolis, Parthenon, Temple of Olympian Zeus, Olympia, etc. And imagine the food -- Tiropitakia, Saganaki, Pasticcio, Souvlakia, Spanakopitta and, of course, top it all of with some Halvas Tou Fournou and Ouzo :slurp:

Actually, it would fit in pretty well in World Showcase: the first Olympics, the first universities (Plato's Academy, University of Constantinople) are as "cultural" and "innovative" as it gets, IMHO.

And with all the Greek mythology, an attraction could be easily tied in.

I agree...Israel. I heard a rumor a few years back that it was going to be upcoming but I guess that is why is is a "rumor." Greece would be cool. I love Greek food. To me, the best part about world showcase is the sights and food.

EPCOT gets way too hot in the summer so I'm proposing Antarctica. Now I know you're all clamoring to say it's not a country but a continent. So be it. When Orlando hits 98F with 98% humidity in the summer, you'll all be clamoring to hop on the Ice Flow ride, watch the Penguin-o-rama Circle Vision 3D at the refrigerator theater, or buy a big sloppy Snow Cone.

OK, ok. On a serious note, since they've already been stated, I'll place my vote for Australia, Greece, & Russia as they'd be the most different from anything already in place.
