If WDW would add a new theme park, what would you want the theme to be?

Okay let me just try to wrap my mind around how cool this would be.

So you're saying build a park with attractions such as Horizons, alien encounter, world of motion, 20,000 leagues under the sea, If you had wings, the timekeeper, the skyway, original journey into imagination, body wars, food rocks, I could go on and on...

That is literally the greatest idea ever. You could even replicate the landscaping around to attractions to their original conditions. And to people who don't really follow Disney these are all new attractions. And the young people who never got to ride horizons (like myself) this would be their opportunity to do so!

Awesome
Awwwwww! Thanks! I didn't think it would get this type of responses. :p

I agree with villans, that would be cool. I know that the parks need a lot before a new park emerges and that will take a while but when does anyone think another park will be built? Just curious for opinions not saying they should build another.

a DisneySea-esque land would be actually epic. not exactly a water park, but it still has elements enough to be the theme park you go to if you want to have a splash but just don't want to go to a wp. it could actually help WDW. divert attention from the other parks so that actual work could be done to fix them.

also (it's not a theme park but whatever), bring back River Country yeeeeah ._.

Star Wars..........PLEASE Star Wars.

i like Star Wars, but no. the universe is too big, yet not detailed enough. it's a soap opera that happens to be in space, there isn't much focus on an aspect of exploration, which is what a theme park is meant to essentially be, especially when it's based on something like this. i'd still prefer an entire land/area in MGM for specifically Star Wars. i'm totally down for that.

i honestly don't see how a Villains PARK could work. a Villains land, however would work amazingly.

and if they'd ever plan for another park expect it by the end of this decade, the beginning of next decade. pretty soon they'll be realizing they need something fresh and cooler than what they have now in order to combat Universal. if they even get to that level.

a thrill park, yes. with "actual themed roller coasters", they are in almost all of the parks, themed attractions are kind of things for theme parks.

so you just essentially described any other park in WDW.
If you're calling anything at disney a rollercoaster (Rockin' Roller Coaster and Space Mountain are not exactly El Toro or Nitro) then you need to go to an actual amusement park...

instead of a 5th gate i think they should completely overhaul AK keep what they have but add soooo much they have enough space in there they could throw in every disney sea attraction and still have room for avatarland

Is an "actual themed roller coaster" code for "put us on a cart in a real gold mine"? Seems to defeat the purpose, right?

Didn't you know? Since a 3 year old can't enjoy a coaster nobody needs to! Let Universal have thrill rides and exciting experiences from other worlds! We have glitchy Ariel! Aren't you just shaking with anticipation!

Even though I like the concept, it just wouldn't work. There would be no lands, no cohesive theming, and it would just be a big mash-up. I believe Disney should have a mini sort of boutique park/area where they have simulators of old rides, sort of like Horizons: Resurrected.
