If WDW would add a new theme park, what would you want the theme to be?

Marvel comics or Star Wars themed.

Of course Marvel would be impossible on the Easy Coast seeing as Universal controls it, but they could do something out west.

For the East Coast is there any other option other than Star Wars? It's clearly the way to go for the next park!

Of course a Tron themed park would make me pee my pants with delight.

I'm a fan of Star Wars, but you can't have an entire park themed that way. At best it should be a segment of a park, just like Pixar Place (which badly needs to be expanded).

TOTALLY disagree. The Star Wars universe is vast. It spans time. A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. The possibilities are endless. A segment of a park is far, far too limiting.

I don't see how Star Wars can't have it's own park. I think it's inevitable. It's something I'm certain WILL happen, it's just a question of when.

Anything too specific, and you're likely going to exclude potential guests.
Agreed. Though I'm sure I would still enjoy it if I went, if my family chose to go to a Star Wars park, I would probably opt to stay at the hotel. Star Wars should have a big representation in the parks, but an entire one to itself leaves no room for growth.

That's just silly. WIth a TV series on the air, new movies and spinoff movies in development there is nothing there BUT growth.

I agree with addition of lands
Magic Kingdom : Expand Adventureland
Hollywood Studios : Star Wars Expansion - more rides, restaurants, shows, etc
Epcot : New countries and make Test track as fast as it was originally intened to be
Animal Kingdom : American Wilderness (Buffalo, bear, Wolf, Fox, etc) and bring back the dragon theming that was initially implemented with the river raft ride that has since closed down.

I like the Star Wars idea. Universal is doing it with Harry Potter. Why not Star Wars?

For a new theme park? Split up Hollywood Studios into two different parks. One could be animation, cartoon and younger kid type shows. And the other could focus on the movies, like Star Wars, Avatar, Indiana Jones, etc...

Do something like Universal/Islands of Adventure. Right next to each other. But different parks.

How fast was Test Track supposed to be??

What about something more US focused? Kind of like Epcot, except with locations in the US. Also, rather than a world showcase layout it could be more like Magic Kingdom or any of the other parks. It could be less educational, and more fun for younger kids. Just a few ideas for the park: Cars Land, a "train ride" around the US(rollecoaster), a Pocahontas dark/slow ride, some sort of snow ride, and a Hawaiian themed area(maybe include Lilo & Stitch). A lot of people come to Disney from outside of the US, so they would probably enjoy seeing more than just Florida. The US has such a vast array of land/climate types so there would be so many opportunities for new and innovative ideas.

Since the blogosphere often says Disney is too childcentric, how about a Fifty Shades of Grey park?

Think of the dark ride possibilities!

The Dreams Come True parade could be repurposed to fit the theme.

When someone says they are 'Dole Whipped' out, you have to think twice about what they are talking about.

And of course, there could be a tie in with the Haunted Mansion and Master Gracey.

The term Rope Drop takes on a whole new meaning!!

(BTW - only kidding - I had too little sleep last night... don't hate me for my silly thoughts!)
