If WDW would add a new theme park, what would you want the theme to be?

Did you read the rest of my explanation as to why you can't have such a specifically themed park?
Sure, there are people who are not big SW fans however there are a TON of people who are. Certainly enough to pack the park. There are VERY few franchises that could hold an entire park and I think SW has enough fans to do so.

Harry Potter...many people not fans (like myself) and yet somehow....it works ;)
Harry Potter doesn't have a whole theme park dedicated to the franchise and that means Star Wars shouldn't either. Harry Potter only has an area, not a whole theme park. That is a big difference. Star Wars having a Land should have no problem, but an entire park is out of the question based on how Universal is handling Harry Potter. Now granted Harry Potter was responsible that big increase IOA has for attendance, but his land is only one part of IOA despite the impression people have with IOA.

IOA has Port of Entry, Marvel Super Hero island, Toon Lagoon, Jurassic Park, The Wizard World of Harry Potter, The Lost Continent, and Seuss Landing.

Universal Studios Florida also doesn't have a whole Theme Park dedicated to Harry Potter either despite what is being worked on for Harry Potter either. All Universal has for Harry Potter is 2 lands for the 2 theme parks.

Marvel
Star wars
Think of all that they could do with these parks! They need to abandon the idea of Avatar land entirely and choose from one of the better properties they can use, and one that will draw a massive crowd! And add more thrill rides and stuff for teens and older kids to do in those...

Think for yourselfer
I'll take a park whose theme is perfect maintenance. A park where SQS are met every minute of every day, and if they arn't, the problem gets solved.
I'll take a park whose theme is working effects, clean walkways, and new innovative attractions.
I'll take a park whose theme is keeping the theme, a park where you don't find Princess crap in Adventure land shops.
I'll take a park whose theme is great customer service, a park who still treats me as a "guest" and not a numerical value.
ect...

New park options I have in my master plan (Mwahahahahaaaa!) include;
Port Disney - a new re-imagining of DisneySea with new lands such as The Queen's Kingdom and Constantinople
Disney's Calendar Park - a park that takes you through a year's events including: New Years Avenue, Cupid's LoveLand, Saint Patrick's Rainbow Mountain, April Fools Way, Easter Hills, Boston Square, Halloweentown, Big Rock Candy Mountain, Plymouth, and Winter Wonderland.
LEGO City - a small boutique park with larger-then-life LEGO buildings including the fantastic modular houses. A shop here would be the only place to get the discontinued modular sets, and a special monorail would lead from the TTC to a terminal in Legoland.
Wally's Pier - a boutique water and theme park based on a coastal city known for it's flourishing shores. The story would be that a hermit named Wally decides to come out from under the pier to earn a real living. He creates an entertainment pier that is junkily put together. The park would be made up of 4 main lands with rides: Seaside City (containing a real "ocean" view hotel), Wally's Pier (the entrance), Hermit's Quarters (access below the pier) and Paradise Pier (Wally's sophisticated rival). Each land would flank a man-made "pool" that appears like a crystal blue ocean. Guests would be able to rent a locker and go down to the fake beach for a swim in this pool.
That's it! :)

If you build an Extinct Attractions Park, would the Horizons building be pre-built with its own sinkhole?
In regards to Star Wars, you could possibly theme each land from either a particular movie or place in the Universe. You could do Endor, Hoth, Cloud City, etc.

personally, i think Star Wars should just get a land in DHS...i dont think they would ever build a park themed around something so specific. I would love to see a Villians land or Pixar land, although they already have several pixar attractions in the current parks.

They could easily build an entire park out of it (ignoring space) and I'm sure it would be a financial success. Star Wars has an even more vast land and character catalog to go through.

Marvel comics or Star Wars themed.

Of course Marvel would be impossible on the Easy Coast seeing as Universal controls it, but they could do something out west.

For the East Coast is there any other option other than Star Wars? It's clearly the way to go for the next park!

Of course a Tron themed park would make me pee my pants with delight.
. Hasn't Disney bought Marvel???

Disneyspace.....

A place to put the Avatar stuff(if they must).
A great place to explore Star Wars
Star Trek anybody?
How about Aliens? This would also be the park that could bring back the Extraterrorestrial Alien Encounter!
There could also be a fun 50's style sci fi area, spoofing Area 51, Rosewell, etc.

Think of all the cool futuristic environments and rides they could create!

What about something more US focused? Kind of like Epcot, except with locations in the US. Also, rather than a world showcase layout it could be more like Magic Kingdom or any of the other parks. It could be less educational, and more fun for younger kids. Just a few ideas for the park: Cars Land, a "train ride" around the US(rollecoaster), a Pocahontas dark/slow ride, some sort of snow ride, and a Hawaiian themed area(maybe include Lilo & Stitch). A lot of people come to Disney from outside of the US, so they would probably enjoy seeing more than just Florida. The US has such a vast array of land/climate types so there would be so many opportunities for new and innovative ideas.
Weren't they thinking about this at one time...almost 2 decades ago...to be built in Virginia. I think the locals in VA had a fit over it and the changes that it would bring to their area. Disney dropped the idea...but I'm sure other states would have welcomed them...

I'd like to see the Villain Park.
