If the MSEP is returning to Disneyland, what happens to Magic Happens?

Sadly they let it sit outside in the elements and the floats have already rusted. Such a shame.

That's legit right?

Not true.
Then, what is the truth???? That's a scary rumorr to throw around! To think DL did to MH, (a Parade that just opened on Feb 28, 2020, until COVID hit 2 weeks later)the same thing we think MK did to Spectro......... Granted Someone did tell me on here a week or two ago that MH is just dusty/rusty from not being used since March 14, 2020. Just needs to be cleaned up. Costumes refreshed, maybe remade. Nothing near as bad Spectro. Hopefully that's all it is and the Scary "Same situation as Spectro" Rumors can finally die!

Granted we never had this before(COVID), but does anyone think we'll get an update on MH's next move at D23?

Hopefully the only place MH is mentioned or even remembered is in this thread. It was terrible. A fresh parade with a good sound track that is actually entertaining is needed.

I thought the food at DL was absolute garbage in August. WDW was much better.
Yes! I completely agree! Every single thing I bought at a QS location in Disneyland was served ice cold, and the "famous" Plaza fried chicken was cafeteria-grade. The only highlight for me was the Bengal Barbecue skewers in Adventureland.

Yes! They were freakin delicious! On the other hand, we got “Mexican” at DCA and had to throw it out. Disgusting.

I started the rumor as a joke mocking Spectro. It spread like wildfire.

Sadly, they recycled the floats and used the cash from the scrap to pay Mickey and Donald during the shutdown. They would've been homeless otherwise.

According to Orange County Regester MH is not on DL's Radar.....too bad. Can DL really only handle 1 Parade at a time! ACF looks complete (Thank God) and MSEP is returning. But no love/use for the brand new MH????

Saw the article on that other site.

I still cringe everytime they bring the darn Castle Float. Will it have its own cake and party once it reaches 50 years of use? :hilarious: :hilarious: :hilarious:

Here's the news from

No Current Plans to Bring ‘Magic Happens’ Parade Back to Disneyland

The “Magic Happens” parade ran for only two weeks at Disneyland Park before the resort closed in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Though Disneyland Resort is back up and running, the parade has yet to return.

According to Orange County Register, Disneyland officials have “nothing to share at this time on the Magic Happens parade.” Though we can assume “Magic Happens” will be back someday, there don’t seem to be specific plans for when that will be.

Considered it was award-winning, too bad that the parade only shown two weeks, which if never return, becoming the shortest parade in Disneyland history. I suspect it was happen due to budget cuts to focused on younger sister park (WDW) 50th anniversary celebration and more lukewarm views than Mickey's Soundsational Parade, kinda like Enchantment has lukewarm viewers than HEA.

I think it's basically just saying they aren't ready to announce yet.

I would bet they bring back MSEP, then slowly rehearse and bring back MH a bit after. Likely by the Spring.

Wouldn’t this be something if it was… what it probably isn’t lol.

We're not that lucky! LOL!!! Or else the Insiders here would be foaming at the mouth! Or going insane if they had to keep their mouths shut! LOL!!!!

On the other hand, MOUACT this week proved MK can have a Full Parade Experence again. Cast Numbers are another discussion but maybe we're finally at that point where MK can Start readying FOF at least????

I know this is likely some kind of “look back” panel of WDWs history, maybe for D23 or something. But that Spectro logo definitely brought back memories of those crazy mash up nighttime parade rumors coming to WDW lol 🤣. Wasn’t it a combination of MSEP, Spectro and PTN? 🤣.

You're thinking about Spectromagic, not WDW's MSEP floats. Which was so sad, since Spectro was such an amazing parade! I saw that on the first night of my first trip to WDW in 2005, and it literally blew me away!

Actually "RetroMagic" is the name used by the members of "RetroWDW". Which is a website and podcast hosted by longtime fans of Walt Disney World dating back to the 1970s.
