Isn't he supposed to blink, instead of wink? It would be helpful to go back to the source material, the original version now at Disneyland. Here's the rhino blinking a few months ago at Disneyland's version, at the 5:35 mark of this video...


And here's Walt Disney in 1964 introducing the ride to his TV audience in the World of Color episode "Disneyland Goes To The World's Fair", and our favorite hippo is mentioned by Walt at the 5:45 mark of this video...

We were at MK up until 5:00 yesterday, the day before it was to re-open, and it was still completely walked off.
Fingers crossed that it is open later this afternoon when we go.
