Rode it yesterday and it looked good. I think there's a lot of new lighting in there as the colours of some scenes seem different, especially the backlit walls. I did notice since I rode it last (Oct 2015) they seem to have removed completely the tight rope cyclist that didn't work in the final scene. One of the giraffes still didn't nod but otherwise it looked very 'new'

I don't think there is supposed to be another row unless they added it after to the original design. When they opened it in DL after the fair back in the day it only had one row.

Here's an official Disneyland postcard issued in late 1966, the year that Walt opened It's A Small World at Disneyland after the World's Fair. Just one row of girls in the India scene.

I did some research. Here's an official Kodachrome slide from 1971 that was part of a set sold in Disney World gift shops. This is the slide depicting the India scene, and there's just one row of girls in front of the Taj Mahal. The setup of props and dolls is slightly different than the 1966 Disneyland scene, but the number of dolls is the same; five girls only placed on the right side of the Taj Mahal's reflecting pool.

Sigh - yet another cut, That cyclist worked for DECADES, Guess it was 'TOO EXPENSIVE' for Garner-Holt to fix.

The site which cannot be named is reporting that the personalization at the end of the ride, as well as similar things in other rides, has been turned off recently. Has anyone else noticed this?

I can't speak for it myself but I've seen others say the screens didn't show their names just different ways to say goodbye.

Yes, one of the trip reports ongoing in the trip report section made mention that feature was not working, as well as similar things at the end of Haunted Mansion.

If it is multiple rides where it is down, I'm wondering if it is some type of system update

thanks for that. It is interesting because in the WDW version, there looks like there are holes where dolls used to be on the right side.

Thought I would point out that I rode this morning and the ride is in spectacular shape. Every broken effect has been fixed--the spinning sun that's been broken for years, the magic carpets, the hot air balloons, all fixed. I didn't even know the flowers on the ceiling in the finale scene were supposed to spin, but they do now. Only issues are that some of the bulbs on the roller coaster are still burned out (easy fix) and the cowboy's lasso was hitting the wall on Friday so he was pulled this morning to be fixed. All things considered, I was very pleased at the state of the ride.

Also, the filthy restroom issue I complained about in May has been resolved. No gross restrooms.

Very happy to see the upswing.
