I'm sorry but upper management is so completely out of touch with their own parks it's pathetic.

Dan Cockerell should be ashamed and embarrassed.

He never stands in unbearable lines in ungodly Florida weather and tourist conditions. Mearly shuffled quickly and cleanly in and out if that.

These people have been there so comfortably for so long that they couldn't see the grime if it we're growing on their pensions.

Good riddance to Phil. Hopefully Disney history will be kinder to Dan. Only time and Duffy the Bear will tell.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
A handful of interior shots for anyone interested.

You know what's funny?
There's supposed to be another row on the other side of the pool. It's totally empty. I haven't seen both together in a very long time and I go multiple times a year. It's always one or the other.

Uhh. I don't think there is supposed to be another row unless they added it after to the original design. When they opened it in DL after the fair back in the day it only had one row.

I believe you are mistaken. There is only supposed to be one row.

I know that I've seen two rows before. It's been a while but I know what I saw.

I think it may just be a case of your memory playing tricks on you. I've never seen two rows and I haven't been able to find any pictures or videos online that show two rows. Always just the one on the left side.

I just watched the Wondeful world of color special the other night where they took you through DLs version when it opened there. Just one row there as well.

A lot was done. They were in there working around the clock with a large crew. Tons of scaffolding was brought in. The refurb was just not to address show issues unfortunately.

If you have that large of a crew and scaffolding in place, why not go ahead with other technicians and fix the issues at the same time? Doesn't mobilization to fix those issues later come at a cost? Wouldn't it be cheaper to fix it now? It's like getting a car detailed while the oil and brake pad replacement is put off till later.

Yes. It would be cheaper and easier to do it all at the same time. Unfortunately when an attraction goes down its to facilitate specific work that needs done. Sadly (or stupidly) the budget rarely allows for anything else to be completed. Almost all of the things we want fixed in that attraction do not require the attraction to be closed to be addressed. They can all be done overnight.

That said a lot of the work that was done during this downtime is meant to make it easier to fix many of those things in the future.
