^ indeed. One of the little things most guests don`t notice. I guess that means it was successful!

Great pic, BTW. It really shows the planning of the ToTs location to it`s full.

Thanks for showing us that photo Tramp! It sure does look like the ToT. Do you know if that building is in fact a hotel or an apartment complex or an office building? I'm reminded of that song, "It's A Small World". :D

that IS tower of terror. That was the main reason for Tower's location at the end of sunset blvd. They knew it would be visible from Epcot, but the colors matched Morroco best, so it was placed to line up with Morocco. It is completely done purposely.

I got a pic of that angle on my last trip, but yours looks much better than mine.

Well done.

That would make a great desktop. Any chance we could get that pic in high resolution?

Regarding Epcot and MGM being close, they're almost within walking distance of each other. You could realistically walk from MGM to Epcot's International Gateway, and there are paths set up to make this possible. People staying at Boardwalk/Yacht/Beach Club/Dolphin/Swan frequently walk to both parks.

It's about a 25-30 minute walk, good workout. I've done it. A bit long, but not really that bad. It's very scenic.

Hence Tramp's title, "I never noticed this...". I should have known, WDW is always particular about its sight lines. Thanks for waking me up!

I took the photo from across the pond near the bridge that leads to Mexico. I have to give credit to my 15 year old daughter who noticed it first. I just stared at it in disbelief for a few minutes and was floored that I never noticed it before. I used my camcorder to take the still photo and was able to zoom in on it.

Hopefully this link will work...

If the map came up correct, EPCOT will be in the upper right and Disney/MGM Studios will be at the bottom just left of center. You can see just how close the two parks are. If it doesn't come up, enter EPCOT and zoom in or out and you can find the two.

Guessing from the scale, I would say they seem to be a half mile apart. (About 900 yards or so?)
