i don't know if you all remember, but i was in the dreaming stage of a trip to the world in 2008. hubby put a big stop to that, (i even took him out to dinner to soften him up. LOL)

i don't know how much of this to say, i am not sure how many young people are on the boards. but i will say that last nite i brought it back up during a moment of (how should i say this) wifely duties  and he said ok  .

so to the point of this thread, don't give up the dream! if there is a will there is a way! :ROFLOL:

so i will be moving from the dreaming stage onwards and upwards to the planning stage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! once my dates are set i am going to be posting in the official april threads :sohappy:

I'm not sure what a magner is. If it's a $300-500 shoe or bag...no stress. It's a major purchase for us and not something I'd do regularly. But, she doesn't like diamonds, so it evens out. All relationships are a quid pro quo on some level and I wish more young guys understood that. You wash the dishes without being asked, you get left alone to watch the game. It's a two way street and it requires work. Now, I am not so cynical as to call it a pure bartering system, and I quite sure that the original poster meant for her comments to be taken with a knowing wink and a smile. I don't think that she REALLY had to trade favors for a vacation (at least I hope not).
Magners is what we here in the States call hard cider. I wish I had a pint right now.:slurp:

ok now you all have me laughing so hard over here!

i have been debating between the yacht club and the shades of green.
the first being over double what the latter would cost. but i don't think any kind of convincing will make him go for that cost. and i really do want to keep peace in the family. i did agree with him to keep it cheaper than last years vacation, so i am leaning more towards shades of green.

i am not worried about the dinning plan. since it will be more than likely just my son and myself, i am going for a more relaxed feel this time. eat when ever we feel like it and what ever my son wants. which most of the time quick service meals are fine, and eating at sog is pretty good on prices also.

i'll be calling on payday to make reservation. sog is not my first choice, but at least i will be in disney.

This thread has me cracking up!:ROFLOL:
Lucky for me, I don't have to sneek in the WDW topic b/c my hubby loves it just as much as I do. (It was one of the reasons I married him.:animwink: )

Ok,eagles, I managed to find the thread you all were giggling over in the scrapbook forum. Now I get it! I'm thrilled for you, although I think you should try to get hubby to go with you. I guess that will take another session or two. Maybe you'll have to promise him a good time in disney.

I have known for years how to get my hubby to do things he doesn't want to do. How do you think I got him to buy into the dvc?:ROFLOL:
