Damin it! I really want to go and hassle this guy now since he persists with his stupid "no pictures" routine. I am going to WDW in 10 days but I only have tickets to MNSSHP. I know they have a FL. Resident annual Epcot pass, anyone know if they have a FL. Resident day pass to Epcot?

My kids aren't into Epcot much so I don't want to spend too much money going but I like it and so does DH and the chance the REALLY annoy this guy is making me think twice about going.

If not, does anyone know where I can get those after 2PM passes I've heard so much about? I'm ready to give him a piece of my mind, just need to get through the turnstiles to do it! :p

Yeah I thought about the 3 day but it is not right for us. Believe it or not, DH isn't crazy about theme parks, Disney included. (I know, sacrilage!) Mostly due to the unbearable Florida heat that we always have to deal with (we live in Miami so we know all about it) and the huge crowds.

This July the 4th it was wayyy too hot so we left and came back later at 8 PM because the parks were open late. It was the best time we ever had! Few, if any, lines and no blistering sun! So, we decided that from now on we would only go when they park is open real late and go later in the day (like 4 PM) to avoid the heat. That makes the special Disney parties like MNSSHP and MVMCP a much better choice for us but admission is not included for those on a 3 day play pass so it's just not for us.

I am going to look into those after 2PM passes that the convention center sells. I know they mail them to you and all you have to do is tell them what convention you are going to, they don't ask you for proof. However, I wonder if Disney asks you for proof that you went to a convention. Anybody know? I could go to one if I had to.

I don't think they ask for proof, however, it's not bad to at least get the name of a convention... the OCCC website lists them all

At this point, I'm thinking these items have been registered through the Trademark Office of the Philippines...

your thoughts?

alrighty...

so any copyright they have is strictly under the Berne Convention, which is essentially one step short of an actual US copyright... which means they have the copyright to it, but no copyright number in any nation of the world, nor do they have any legal recourse and are not eligible to receive any statuatory damages/attorneys fees in succesful litigation. At the end, any litigation will come down to my word against theirs. Lastly on this point, the United States was not a party to the Berne Convention until March 1, 1989, and since the Berne Convention provides for no retroactivity in its protection, the only works that would be protected are those that were entirely designed and made after that date.

Furthermore,

under Fair Use copyright principles, there is theoretically nothing wrong with me snapping a photograph since,

A- I do not intend on replicating their work, nor making any work influenced by their own and

B- I have not made any money from the photographs featuring their work, nor do I ever plan on earning any money from it.

That is all for now :D

Priceless! VERY informative report, thanks! Well in case I do go to Epcot where are they located?

Walk toward World Showcase. You will see the two shops that are between the boat docks. To the right of them are some stands set up for the festival. I believe it is the center stand. They are located across from the big African display that is set up for the Festival.
