I am Thankful for.......:)

I am thankful for my family. My husband who puts up with me and forgives me for not being a perfect wife. My children who have given me more joy in life than they will ever realize. My grandson who continues that joy. And my parents and siblings.

I am thankful for our military, and the fact that I live in this wonderful country.

I am very, very thankful for my mother and the fact that she's alive. She was in ICU twice in Oct.. The first time with a blood clot in her lungs and the 2nd time she hemorrhaged from her coumadin (she didn't know she couldn't take a BC powder). Both times she was in very serious condition.
And the day after she got out of ICU the first time, she asked me if I would take her back to Disney World as soon as she starts feeling better. She's 77 years old.

And finally I am thankful for God's mercy.


And for fun, rock music, UT Vols (even in bad years), WDW and bar-b-que ribs.

Been thinking all day about this one...

I am so thankful for:

My family. My kids give me so much joy, I can not even describe it. I am the luckiest Mom in the whole world. And my wonderful husband, to whom I have been married to for 10 years. They are my world.

My career. To have a stable, thriving occupation in this economy is a blessing.

My home. It is where I always want to be.

The good health of my loved ones and myself. It is something I never take for granted.

My friends, both real and imaginary. :animwink:

My doggies. They are part of our family, and give us great joy every day.

Little things:
Coffee
Apple Crisp
My new laptop
Our AP's (stole that one from Dot)
Chocolate
Windex
My Dad's macaroni and cheese
Summer

I am thankful for my friends and family.
I am thankful for all of the people here who can sometimes brighten my day.
In honor of Veterans day I am thankful to all who have served.
I am thankful that my wife will be having our first child in March.
I am thankful for my new job.
I am thankful that I have a roof over my head.
Most of all, I am thankful for this wondrous thing we call life.

Little things.
I am thankful for Dole whips even if Dana is not.:lol:
Chocolate.
Books.
The Fall and the beautiful trees.
Football.
Baseball.
Disneyworld.:)

I am thankful for my family and friends and their patience and love in waiting for me to open my eyes. No one should ever doubt the power of strong friendships and family love.
I am thankful that the weather is finally pleasant.
I am thankful for my job.
I am thankful that I'm in my senior year at LSU.
I am thankful that I'm now starting to get out more and enjoy my life.
I am hopeful that America can only go up from where it's at.
I am thankful for blended coffee drinks for helping get me through the day.
I am thankful that I was able to at least briefly experience the Adventurers Club. It was my home away from home and a microcosm of everything I love.

I'm thankful for (not in any real order):
-Gas in Chicago dropping down to $2.35 a gal
-Microwaves.. so I dont have to cook if I dont want to.
-My automobile
-Computers and technology
-my l33t haxor skillz
-People who are ignorant about computers & technology (that way I can remain employed :lol: :p :lookaroun)
-Not being Amish *see all of the above*
-Family
-A new incoming leader
-Puppies
-Cake
-Pumpkin Cheesecake
-Dunkin Donuts opening at 5am
-Coffee *see above*
-tacos
-EPCOT
-Portillos
...and other stuff... but these things spring to mind. :D

I lurk more than post these days (doesn't "lurk" make me sound totally creepy? :lookaroun) but I thought I'd throw in my list.

I am grateful for:
*My friends and family who love me without reason or reservation and who I learn lessons from every day
*My boyfriend Jason who puts up with way more than he should (although I think he would say the same!)
*My adorable dog Izzie, who loves unconditionally and loves to curl up on my lap and sleep, which works out great because I love to hold her
*My warm home
*My job, even though some days it sucks, I still have one
*That I live in a country where not only did my vote count, but where I have an opportunity to vote at all, where I have more freedoms than I will ever truly understand, and where men and women fight and die daily to provide me with those freedoms

The smaller, less significant but still worth mentioning stuff:
*Jer's posts, because him being grateful for not being Amish made me choke on my diet coke from laughing
*Dunkin' Donuts Toasted Almond coffee and DD being in Indy, finally
*Christmas lights, and movies, and treats...Christmas in general :xmas:
*Fuzzy socks
*That commercial with Peyton Manning and the chicken...:lol:
*Leftover lasagna in my fridge
*The SUPER cute red coat I got at Old Navy today for 50% off
*Fresh Market, the best store in the world

It is friday and I get to enjoy the weekend with my loves
That the temps will be no higher then the 50's this weekend..YAY!
That I do not have to cook the whole weekend as we will be going out for the next 3 days...:):)

I am also thankful that it's Friday and that in fewer than two hours I'll be done with my Biology midterm and can finally take a break from studying.

I'm thankful for THANKSGIVING because it's the greatest holiday. Better than my birthday. Better than Christmas. Oh, I can't wait.

I'm thankful for friends who help me study.

I'm thankful for my job at the Gap, even though I really dread going every time I work, it's not so bad.

I'm thankful for hot water and that I have it again and don't have to take showers at other people's apartments.

8 more days till Thanksgiving..:)

I am Thankful...
That we are starting to look for a house to move into after the beginning of the year and that my baby will finally have a backyard..:)

That Drew's back does not hurt as much as it used too

For Ghiradelli Pecan Pie chocolate squares that come in the holiday pack...Sooo yummy!

I'm thankful that my friend gets to come to the farm with me for Thanksgiving!

I'm thankful that all my midterms are over (even though I probably did poorly on all of them)!

I am thankful for all the fun stuff I get to do with my friends like go to concerts and midnight movies.

And I am thankful that next week's work week is only 3 days. :D

This Thursday is Thanksgiving guys..:)

I am Thankful for...

The beautiful weather we are having and that I am getting ready to enjoy it with Drew and Maggie.

For Maggie kisses that wake me up..and for a great other half who let me sleep in a little later then usual..:)

For my life in general..things seem to get better and better every single day!...:)
