Judging by what I'm reading on Facebook this is all that's left. Some people are saying that people are getting combative over food at Caribbean Beach. If this is all that's left then this IMO is the equivalent of price gouging. Is everything else closed? All of the shops and counter service? Is this box the only option people have had to eat? That's what I'd like to know.
This is why I love DisneyOh Man - I love that!! Still trying to make some magic for kids in a scary situation. now that is class !!
HOTTER usually. I can deal with the storms - it's the heat and humidity after that's brutal. (Think Disney in Sept/Oct with no A/C cooled rides or gift shops.) We do have a portable AC unit - it's a lifesaver. (That and a few bottles of wine tucked into the hurricane supplies!)

What if it's a girl?In nine months theres a lot of people who are gonna be naming their kid matthew....
I do too. I don't think it's price gouging though. I also don't believe that is the only food option that people have had all day.

FYI: Orange County Government has declared a Curfew from 10PM tonight (10/6) until 7AM on Saturday. (10/8)

It is illegal. Rick Scott has also been tweeting about it. They have directly informed hotels, gas stations, etc that they will come after them if they participate in price gouging.I think the "forgetfulness" about storms because it's been so long is extending outward to people forgetting that upping prices in an emergency ($6 gas, etc) is not only morally reprehensible but also very illegal.
If a family of four bought those boxes, you are talking $52. Even at retail prices (not wholesale which is what Disney would have paid) there is about $7 worth of food in four of those boxes. If that's not price gouging I don't know what is.
You are missing scope here. Are tens of thousands of guests going to all have ubers coming? Is pizza hutt even delivering in this hurricane?
It's probably, quite appropriately, bologna. What's on that sandwich? That alone could be worth the $13, everything else, including that delicious apple and that tempting cookie are throw ins.

What if it's a girl?
Besides thatNot for the sad $12.99 box lunches that may or may not be free if you (justifiably) complain to a manager?
Of interest..... Here's Video from Atlantis on Nassau-Paradise Island....

According to the Weather Channel, it looks like landfall will be between Port St. Lucie and Vero Beach.
Rick Scott is giving a briefing right now. He's making it sound scarier than what I've been reading recently. Ugh.According to the Weather Channel, it looks like landfall will be between Port St. Lucie and Vero Beach.
