Wait they're selling a $12.99 box lunch?

Can we report Disney for price gouging. I think they should have to make their prices fair when things become essential.

I get that closing WDW will be a money loser regardless. And they are doing the right thing in closing the parks. Since they're going to lose money anyway for safety reasons, at this point, I think offering a free boxed lunch and dinner is the least they can do. (Yes, Disney will be in the red already this year because of Brexit, Pulse night club, alligator. Add Matthew to the list. Worry about that later and just take care of your guests.)

They don't have do something extra. Boxed lunches are not something they normally provide. But they are doing what is morally and ethically right and I would expect nothing less from them. That's all.

Have you looked at that picture posted above of the dry sandwich, one piece of luncheon meat? There is about $3 worth of food in that box.

I've been supportive of Disney this far, but that's disgusting. Literally and figuratively.

No more so than "nothing they do is right" crowd.

I'd give this thread a 50/50 split.

5/10 Would not read again

I'm just comparing them to their actions in 2004. For the most part, WDW is the safest place you can be if you're in this storm. Concrete & steel around you. Thick safety glass windows. Steel door. Comfy bed. Cable TV.

In nine months theres a lot of people who are gonna be naming their kid matthew....

Yeah, like I said earlier, seems like they had more warning in 2004 (not excusing the alleged $12.99 box). Matthew is a pretty indecisive and spastic storm. Like most Matthews in real life.
