He careful. Curfew is not until 6pm tonight.

Really? Didn't know. Security or a grounds crew JUST got there. All gates are open now. Can't tell you how tempted I was to sprint an take a pic. But I'm not that crazy.

Jacksonville is going through a mess right now. They're currently in the northeast quadrant and are dealing with major flooding around the St. Johns River, especially in the downtown and Riverside areas. I hope that @The Mom is doing well. I just heard the Governor say that, in addition to Irma, Jax is also being impacted by Jose. With Jose stationary in the Atlantic, it's pushing water toward the east coast, worsening the flood. In fact, it's the worst flooding Jacksonville has had since hurricane Dora in 1964. Long-timers remember Dora (not me-wasn't born yet), but weather forecaster for Channel 4 George Winterling famously forecast that Dora would make a turn to the west into Jax after heading up the Florida east coast.

Andy, what is the wind like right now?
Has some gusts. Only once during the hour or so I was out there did I think "whoa" and have to lean into it. I would take pics when it wasn't blowing and stay aware when when was blowing. Gotta juke those branches ;)

Too bad you can't go in. I saw several broken light lamps. Not sure if there are still wind gusts but be careful out there.
I could have- and I was tempted- I just didn't want to end up in jail. :D

Can you elaborate? We are scheduled to arrive Thursday and still aren't positive if we should cancel. It will all depend on what we hear today.
That's all I know. The Cast Member Ride Out Crews are just getting above ground to walk the parks and access damage now. I think Martin and I are getting our updates from the same place, everyone will try to keep everyone updated through the day.

Anything to see going down the walkway from the resort boat dock toward the Water Pageant boat dock / Grand Floridian?
