Really? Didn't know. Security or a grounds crew JUST got there. All gates are open now. Can't tell you how tempted I was to sprint an take a pic. But I'm not that crazy.

Definitely. Huge operation to relocate all of the crews/planes that have been displaced. Southwest and JetBlue are obviously two of the three airlines who count MCO as a hub, Frontier have yet to say what its plans are...
Frontier has said that flights will be limited tomorrow. I live near two airports and both have only one flight going down tomorrow (I'll be on one of them).

They do have a trailer at the hotel near me. My daughter just texted and said her BFF just lost power. Stone Road area.

Blair Stone runs from Centerville Rd. to Southwood. About where? Speaking for myself, I still have power. Earlier I was on the phone with folks in Jax (they're dealing with a mess, BTW) when I heard crackling from a tree falling. Scared the you know what out of me. I have lots of trees behind my home. Fortunately, the tree fell inward toward other trees.

I hope everyone is safe, and also glad the worst is finally through Orlando. This has been such a long week tracking this storm!

I keep checking the Duke Energy site and it looks like my apartment (Orange County, 15 minutes from Disney) hasn't had any reported outages which is a good sign, but I'm so worried about my apartment and car. I hope I'll be able to get back to Orlando soon.

Stone Road, over by the Tallahassee Mall (sorry, it will always be that to me). I live in the Lake Jackson area - we always loose power.

Edit: sorry, hit the post button as I was trying to finish. Glad your home is okay. The big tree in my front yard is still upright. But lots of small branches and leaves in the road.

I read that ihop and Dennys is open.

Which ones?! I know some counties haven't issued mandatory curfews, but seems a bit odd to open in the wake of a hurricane. Although, if they're in an area without a curfew, and people need food but have no power at home, then it could be a perfect hearty breakfast...
