5PM Advisory. Just remember IRMA can track anywhere within the cone. The actual track may not necessarily follow the center of the path.

Very odd that the NHC is completely going with the European solution. Seems like they are discounting the GFS and CMC models entirely.

Thanks. Remember, you can always see the latest update at the 1st post. (The same image is updated by the NHC.)

Stronger than Andrew. Wow.

I am praying like crazy that this thing turns.

What do you guys think? Will everyone get out? I'm sure it won't happen, but my idea- They should just bring more planes into KW and MIA and just do routes to/from MCO and surrounding airports.. just get these people a little more north, although it's doubtful that there will be many rental cars left.

Please, do not use hotel rooms or rental cars if you do not need them.

Who do you think does not need them? I think it's safe to say the entire state could be in danger.

And now there's a 3rd tropical disturbance in the Gulf. It will be named Katia if it gets to the named storm strength. However, it is expected to affect the Mexican coast.

All I know is that I don't want to go through this again. Unfortunately, people somewhere in Florida will. Sigh. . .

Neither do I...And I've got Kate in 1985 in my history.

On a positive note- there's only been 2 Category 5 hurricanes to ever hit Florida.

1992 Andrew- we all know the aftermath.

1935 Labor Day Hurricane. - wiped out part of the Keys. Goodbye Overseas Railroad.

But odds are in South Floridians/Floridians favor, right? They're not due for a 3rd just yet.
