* WHAT...East to Southeast winds 25 to 35 kt with gusts up to 60 kt and seas 6 to 11 ft.

* WHERE...Atlantic waters Flagler Beach to Jupiter Inlet out to 60 nm.

* WHEN...Tropical Storm force winds possible from Wednesday morning until Friday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Very strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners should consider altering plans to avoid possible hazardous conditions. Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the vessel for severe wind and seas. &&

I wouldn't know. I was walking to my ADR at Chez de France.

I have a decision to make tomorrow. My split stay between Contemporary and AK lodge was supposed to occur on Wed. I would rather not do that. I want to have a secure room in place without having to travel between the resorts then. So I'll see if they can move the split stay up a day to tomorrow. Otherwise it may be Contemporary all week.

They're probably built to withstand hurricane force winds. Those little chairs on the Blizzard Beach lift have been through several just fine without falling off.

Details on closures so far -

Disney Resort Hotels: Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Copper Creek Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa and the Bungalows at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort since these locations will temporarily close Wednesday, Sept. 28 through Friday, Sept. 30 due to the weather. We are contacting Guests with current and upcoming reservations.

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon will close temporarily Wednesday, Sept. 28 and Thursday, Sept. 29. (Disney’s Blizzard Beach is currently closed).

Winter Summerland Miniature Golf and Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf will also temporarily close Wednesday, Sept. 28 and Thursday, Sept. 29.

Reservations for Dining and Other Experiences: Effective immediately, we will not enforce cancelation policies until further notice for dining and other experiences like Savi’s Workshop and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.

We are currently monitoring weather conditions and will communicate any changes to park operating hours or special events at a later time.

Disney just closed TT and is offering "alternative experiences" that don't include GOTG, Rat, or Frozen. It may be a while until it reopens. I predict Saturday at the earliest.

Interesting that they think they'll reopen on Friday when Tampa will likely still be underwater by then.

Driving back to Middle Georgia today we passed hundreds of utility trucks heading south from where the turnpike meets I75 all the way up to North of Macon where we depart the interstate.
