The perfect way to start the day!

I was at my work at 6am after 4 hours of sleep. Ouch.

Ah, I'm so happy my days of being young and stupid are over! ;) In retrospect, it seems so easy...too much drinking equals bad hangover, therefore, don't do it! In practice, it's much harder to be able to accurately gauge the amount of alcohol needed to get that happy buzz without crossing the line to drunkedness (and subsequent misery the following morning, if not sooner...:hurl: )

Just remember, each bad experience is adding to your knowledge of what is "too much!"

So true!

Been there, done that, ain't going there no mo!
Since I come from a town where the bars never close, I can assure you I feel your pain. Everybody has their own hangover tips and tips to prevent a hangover, but at my age the best tip is to abstain. I'm not too graceful falling from the tables nowdays; gotta do the Coyote Ugly thing and hope I trip on the bar and land there (thus when I do indulge):animwink:

I have never had a hangover... I drink very little cause it makes me sleepy (and the party is over), so whenever I drink a little bit more than I should, I get very honest and funny ( and my friends love it... ) but it goes away while I´m dancing, and I never stop eating at the parties! hehe :D :animwink:

So Neil... are we going to hear what you were celebrating last night? :D :animwink:

I can honestly say I have never had a hangover cause I don`t drink. The most alchahol I ever have is a glass of wine with my dinner or 1 mudslide and that`s it for me.

Those were the days, my friend

The headache and nausea one gets after drinking too much alcohol can - in most circumstances - be avoided by drinking lots of water before retiring.

However, if you are nonetheless queasy, a bacon sandwich is a cure I hadn't heard of before! Would suggest the alternative of some soft vanilla ice cream or in most extreme cases, just nibble on soda crackers. Avoid carbonated beverages.

Take care and be well!

The last time I had a hangover, I also had a broken nose & chipped tooth. No wonder I don't drink much anymore.
