Wait...go back, and start again...how does this work?

I mail each family member a letter asking them if they'd like to participate in this year's lottery. If they do, they fill out a "Dear Santa" letter, giving Santa gift ideas for two small gifts (total value - a maximum of $50). They mail their "wish list" back to me. I throw all the letters in a hat, pull them out randomly, and mail everyone who is "in" the lottery one other person's name, and they shop for just that one person. Theoretically, no one spends more than $50, and everyone gets two smallish gifts that they chose themselves. In actual fact, I wind up doing the lion's share of the shopping, wrapping and spending, because somehow very few of the members of my deadbeat family who "forget" to shop for their giftee, and beg me to bail them out at the last minute, actually send me the fifty bucks.

But, hey, they're family, and hey, it's Christmas.

Saturday huggles! Had another enclosure-building workout session at the Wolf Center today! The new wolves arrive on the 14th, and so the crunch is on to finish then pen in time...

On a sad note, I forgot to set the VCR to tape Storm of the Century on SciFi while I was at the Wolf Center like I wanted to. I have yet to see the first two hours of that show - I always miss them! It's got one of my favorite actresses, too. :(

Good evening *huggles*

Went to the MK today, they were setting up to film the holiday Extreme Makeover Home Edition tonight and having a Brian Wilson concert as well. I was tempted to stay, but was tired and came home instead.

So here I am wishing was at the MK right now. :hammer:

So is it weird that I just got back from seeing Chicken Little in 3-D for a second time in two nights?

I even used the same pair of glasses.

HAHAHA! Is that legal?!

Where is that anyway?

More than legal. 6ABC co-sponsors the parade, so we get disney to come up to the northeast once a year. They usually kick off the parade, and then close it off with a giant finalie on the art museum steps, followed by that other fat guy in the red suit...

Festive. Haha. Well I guess I shouldn't talk. We don't even have a parade in Melbourne.

Alright. I'm heading to bed. 'Night everyone.
