That'd be awesome and any grade would be fine...although as a younger person I'd rather start in the middle schools
Very true.
It is something I really would consider for a career. I love English lit., and I don't imagine that teaching it would be very difficult.

I am thinking of becoming an English teacher as well. I'd want to teach somewhere in between the 6th grade - 12th grade levels.

I don't think I could be a teacher in any grade younger than 9th. I have a very short temper. It might scare the kiddies...:lookaroun

Don't do it just because you love lit. It's nice to be passionate about the literature because I am most definitely...which is why I don't want to teach math  But if you teach, you really have to want to do it for the students, not yourself. And  don't say teaching wouldn't be difficult. It IS difficult. That phrase "those who can't, teach" is a very misleading quote

I wouldn't want to become a teacher for myself, because teaching is not the profession to go into to get lots of $$ or fame or something materialistic like that. (My mom's a teacher.) I would want to teach to help students learn to love English as much as I do.
I didn't mean that it was easy to teach English, but it is easier than teaching math or something like that!

 I know what you mean. My mom is still trying to convince me to go into computer engineering or law  But teaching has always been my dream and well here I am

I must say good-night now, as I have to go study for a science quiz. Our former teacher retired, so one of the special ed. science teachers has taken her place, and I really am not fond of her. Hopefully, they'll hire someone new. *crosses fingers*

Have a lovely evening.

I wouldn't worry too much, you can get through grade school on intelligence alone, it's high school where you have to start studing.
