NYE huggles to all!! I was gonna go to Disneyland today... unfortunately I lost my debit card just before Christmas and am still waiting on my new one in the mail. So I'm stuck with just $20 in my pocket to last me til it gets here.

Afraid it's not been a happy new year in Bristol. I went out to meet up with friends and had to stop a drunken yob from beating up his girlfriend. As with any coward he backed off when he realised he would get hurt if he did not back off. The girl then thinks that I'm going to fight her "boyfriend" and starts saying "Don't hurt him", pushes past me and starts to cling on to him.

Did I stop a battering or just delay it? I will probably never know. Anyway I had no heart to spend the evening amongst equally drunk and obnoxious louts, so I'm back home.

Do I live in Britiain's most obnoxious city, or is it like this everywhere?

I hope things will be better in 2005. I've less than an hour to find out if that will be the case.
