Am I the only person in here not planning a wedding? I only have a baseball game to plan for this afternoon.

Change of clothes for after work . . . check
gnat repellant . . . check
stadium seat . . . check
camera . . . check
$$ for admission, food and drinks . . . check
sweatshirt for when the sun goes down . . . check.
jacket if the wind whips up like it did last week . . . :fork: forgot again!

Otherwise, I'm covered! :lol:

No wedding planning for me. Been there, done that.:lol:
Actually my 11th Wedding Anniversary is in exactly 16 days.:sohappy:

Have fun at the baseball game. It is not baseball weather here. There is a 70% chance of heavy rain and wind. I think we are also under a flood watch. Oh well...........

Yes, son's games. I have to pay to get in even when I am working the concession stand, working the scoreboard, cooking burgers or otherwise helping out. :lol:

The schools here charge the parents to watch the games. It's a racket! :lol:

Yeah...that's where I am...who to invite...who not to...it's a little easier for me and my fiance...we don't have as many friends as my parents do...but there were still a few people when going through my brain (and my phone) who I was like...I'd like to invite them...but I haven't really talked to them in a while...or I'm not as good of friends with them as the other people I'm inviting...so, that's what's making it difficult. I guess you could say those people are my B-list.

The school uses gate receipts to cover the costs of paying the umpires and maintaining the facilities. If they didn't charge the parents, they wouldn't make enough money to cover the expenses. *shrug*

Yep, I planned my own around the budget my parents gave me. Worked out pretty well... well except for the organist not showing up at the church.

I don't mind. My son needs to play baseball and the school needs the money. It all works out.

She had a fight with her ex husband when she dropped off her son and "didn't feel like attending a wedding". Yeah, she almost ruined my day and refused to return the money we paid her until my father took her to court.

Well, my husband and I paid for our own wedding/reception because my parents could not afford it (which I think really bothered my mother ) but she wanted to be involved in the planning as much as she could and I welcomed it because we are very close.

Almost ruined someone else's wedding because of their own problems, then try to take the payment anyway? That's not right...
