How was your Valentine's Day?

Mine was ok. I was in Tallahassee visiting family. Slept in late, watched some TV in the afternoon with my cousins. We were actually thinking about heading on down to Orlando (D-Von Dudley, a WWE wrestler, was signing autographs at the House of Blues starting at 4, so we were going to go get autographs and then head over to MK), but it was just raining the entire day so we decided not to. We went to have dinner over at Carrabba's but when we got there they said it was "at least a 2 hour wait" , so we decided to head across the street to a really good seafood restaurant called Scales n Tales. After that we just hung out at my aunt and uncle's house, just watching TV and playing some games with my cousins. It was fun, but I would have rather been home, going out with my gf (it's not fun spending Valentine's Day alone without your gf!:( )

LOL! I wondered why I got a reply to this thread... I didn't reply because my valentine's day was pretty boring.

I had a wierd Valentines Day
Had to spend the day at work in the morning then rush to a dance competition with my pupils, then in the evening I got to go out for dinner with my bloke to a lovely restaurant during which I get a text to say our ballet teacher has given birth to a daughter named Emma Valentine (cute!!) but when I got home I threw the meal back up again as I am sooooo stressed and tired at the moment and a rich meal late in the evening is the last thing my stomach needed!
I think I need a holiday...........can't think of where to go though...........

Do any of you dance teachers have a day that does not involve the word "rush"?

You know it really does require a certain level of intimacy. Most people will have s&x long before they're willing to lift a leg and say: "*Braaaaaaaaaap* Whoah! Maaaaan!!! Where're those weapons inspectors because I think I just found Saddams stash of toxic gas!"

Sadly, some may never reach that higher plane of intimacy.

You are right, and you leave me speechless...
I am not sure if I want to reach that level... as 'sweet' as it may be, it doesn´t sound that good!

Mine was great. My dh (dear husband) woke me up with giving me candy and a very pretty card. Plus, he got me tickets to see Princesses On Ice (a while ago, when I saw the commerical and I was talking with him about how my mom use to take me to those shows and how much fun I had--and how much I missed going to WDW), so he got me those tickets to try to help my fix with WDW. Than my dh had to go to work...and when he came home, he made me dinner (his first meal he cooked), and we danced, and watched movies. It was wonderful. The next day, we saw the show...it was very cute.

This reminds me of a South Park episode...

The 4 boys are walking down the street when Kenny spontaneously combusts.

Then...after his funeral...a lady combusts...

What did they have in common?

Kenny recently got a girlfriend.
The lady recently got a boyfriend.

Both were holding "them in" because they didn't want to be embarrassed.

The gases built up inside until...BOOM.

Sooo...the town scientist tells everyone to start "letting them go"

Everyone in the town turns into human bagpipes and suddenly a heat wave occurs because now there is so much methane that the ozone is depleting.

 (very interesting episode to say the least)

Pretty nice day.

Did the flowers and chocolates on Friday (delivered while I was at work) and home to Dinner out that evening. Valentines day was spent with the girls doing some stuff as a family. All-around good day. (I got the Beatles: Let it be Naked)

My day was not that great because I got called into work(6pm -10pm). MY husband took me out on Sunday(after I got out of work) to a nice dinner then to a casino(He hates casinos). So I guess I did alright.
