i had the best valentines day since forever.

my 2 guy friends knew that i was kinda depressed about v-day and well they planned a whole breakfast for me... they got up early walked to the store to get everything... and got the keys to my apartment so they could cook... they put so much effort in to it since i could hear all the noise that was going on in the kitchen... it was cute... i get a knock on my door and get up walk out and there are waffles and orange juice on the table... so cute... they stole a branch of flowers off of school property for me and got me a card saying that they loved me and that there was no other person better to spend v-day with than me... so sweet... i swear i was going to cry... just that put a smile on my face that just wouldn't go away... :D

Mine was GREAT! I hit all four parks, got a package from home with my favorite cookies in it, and met up with Brian, Lauren, Jill, Angel, and Brent after Wishes (which is great)

Even though my boy was in michigan, I tried to have a great day! :)

Mine was just like any other day, but that's OK because Valentine's Day isn't really for me (possibly because I've never had a valentine?) I just don't like the idea of a holiday created by a greeting card company.

It's actually much, much older than Hallmark. They just capitalized on it, like every other holiday

Edit- ooooooooooops, I had not read far enough to see Lovecraft's post on the matter!

My family really doesnt do much for Valentines. My father came home with marshmallow hearts for my mother and I. I spent V~day in Atlantic City, losing my shirt and drinking REALLY bad wine. I did get a gift though. My mom got a Coach signature bag as a gift from the casino, and since she didnt like it, it found its way to me

I had a fun time yesterday. It was so strange for me to have a boyfriend on valentine's day!

Took a class on how to work Emily's heart monitor.

Went to Magic Kingdom. Got there just before 3:00. The parade was delayed so I walked around a little. Caught up with another forum member.

Parade stepped off about 10 minutes late. Pluto got lots of extra cheers and applause.:)

Saw my boyfriend at work and got a picture taken with him. When he got off work we went to a Chinese buffet for dinner then to my place for a movie.:animwink:

Fun stuff!:)

I had a wierd Valentines Day
Had to spend the day at work in the morning then rush to a dance competition with my pupils, then in the evening I got to go out for dinner with my bloke to a lovely restaurant during which I get a text to say our ballet teacher has given birth to a daughter named Emma Valentine (cute!!) but when I got home I threw the meal back up again as I am sooooo stressed and tired at the moment and a rich meal late in the evening is the last thing my stomach needed!
I think I need a holiday...........can't think of where to go though...........

My v-day rocked...My boss asked me what my g/f and I's fav restaruant was...and surprised me with a gift certificate to my fav local italian place...showing his appreciation for my working an original scheduled weekend off....
Then My g/f gave me The Wedding singer DVD...although she said she felt guilty since the price tag did not match what I paid for her Diamond earings...I thought it showed how in tune she was to me...being the 80's freak I am..:0) I think she did a better job at that then I did.

We had a great time!:sohappy:

We were trying to think where we could go that wouldn't be too crowded. We've got a great little Mexican place down the street that we love, and we thought "Who's going to want to have food loaded with onions and beans on Valentine's day?".

Worked out great! Not to crowded and the food was fantastic.:slurp:

As for the onions and beans, at our age, a good fart battle is just foreplay.

It was our fifth wedding anniversary but we opted for a quiet dinner at home! Very romantic- champagne, three course dinner and an incredible chocolate dessert, a little dancing and a fire in the fireplace (and sound asleep by 10PM!!). I got a beautiful new ring and another Disney snowglobe! I bought my husband a Patriots watch which he loved!!:)

Mine was wet! My bf and I went to Ohana for dinner and then to the MK. After Wishes was over we couldn't take the sogginess anymore so went home and were off to bed.

 You were probably there the same time the weird WDWMagic crew was there...although, we ate at Kona (and I might add...very good!)
