How many times do you dine at the same place?

I was wondering as I was making my adrs does anyone ever eat at the same place more than once while on vacation? Or do you just go to many places only once? I only ask because I will be going for two weeks and I was planning on eating at Cape May Breakfast Buffett (it is mine and my mom's favorite place to eat breakfast). I made 6 adrs at Cape May spread out about every 3 days. Do you think that is too many times? I know this is probably a silly question but I would appreciate anyone's opinion! Thanks!

I usually only go for five days at a time, so I never eat at the same place more than once (excepting counter service locations). There are so many different places I want to eat at I feel like it's a waste of time to go to the same places in a short amount of time. I ate at Tony's Town Square two days in a row, but that's because the second day I had one TS Credit left and nothing else was available that day. BUt I would not have eaten there otherwise. If I were at Disney for a longer period of time I probably would dine at a particular restaurant more than once.

If you like eatting there then YES eat there more than once. I love Chef Mickey's and usually eat there twice during my weeklong trips. Last trip I ate at Crystal Palace twice, we had ADR for breakfast and enjoyed it so much waited 2 hours for dinner on our last day - still worth it

We haven't personally eaten at the same place twice during a visit, but if that is what you enjoy then go for it! Just because everyone else doesn't do it doesn't make it wrong.

Certainly at home we have a "go to" sit down restaurant that we go to often enough that we request the same waiter. We get great service from him and he knows what we like.

Now we will visit most of the same restaurants each visit and then try out one or two new ones to try and expand our repitoire! lol

As we're only there for 5 days, the only time we dine at the same place more than once a trip is usually the resort for breakfast. We do stay for 6 night, with gives us 6 TS credits, so I usually plan something that uses 2 for one meal, than spread the remaining 4 out over the course of the week.

We try to mix things up, with the exception of two restaurants. We usually go to 50's Prime Time twice and Tokyo Dining at least twice (but sometimes more...we're sushi fanatics). If it's not Baroque, don't fix it. :animwink:

We generally do not repeat on the same trip but we are only there for 2-4 days. If we were there for a week or more I could easily see Kona Cafe and WCC being repeated for breakfast on more than one occasion.

The most we've ever visited one restaurant is twice.....usually Chef Mickey's. To me, 6 times is way too many.

We often revisit favorite restaurants from trip to trip, but rarely on the same trip...there is just too much to experience.

Only time was with Yachtsmans, as it is one of my wife's favorites and she was very ill for the first res. so I took the kids then and we made another visit a few days later.

If you love it and thats what you want to do, then do it.......We always eat at Pecos Bills and Cosmic Rays more than once when we are at MK on our trip.....

As far as Table service, no we have never eaten at the same place more than once during a trip...unless you count breakfast one one visit and lunch or supper on another. Last year, we had breakfast at Boatwrights on Sunday morning, then supper there on Wednesday evening. I won't absolutely rule out eating at the same restaraunt for the same meal, as it may happen someday, but with so many restaraunts to try, I doubt we will ever do so. The most likely exceptions I can think of would be: 1) what I already mentioned about breakfast for one meal and supper for another or 2) the restaraunt at our home resort. It's conceivable that we may eat at our resort restaraunt more than once, like on the days that we are spending little or no time at the parks and just want to enjoy other things, such as the resort itself, or off property shopping, etc.

Now, counter service...that's a whole other ballgame. It's not at all uncommon to eat at the same counter service more than once per trip. We've eaten at Pecos Bills more than once on the same trip, and the POR food court. I can't think of any others for sure right off the top of my head, although there may be more.

Regardless, just because I wouldn't necessarily be interested in eating at the same place so many times, if you think you would enjoy it then, by all means, do it. It's your trip and we all enjoy our trips different ways. For me, that many times at the same place would be a waste of TS credits when there are so many other places to try. But if you feel like you have tried most of the places you want to try, and have decided on a favorite that you want to do over and over again, then more power to ya. :wave::animwink:

No. For a single week, I eat at the Cape May for dinner 2 or 3 times. And I still wish is was more.

We always do Cape May, Rose & Crown, & Nine Dragons multiple times. We usually go for 10 days to the YC. So Cape May is usually our first & last breakfast and sometimes we go a third time. Rose & Crown is our first and last dinner. Sometimes we even do Tusker House twice. The dining is all part of the experience for us and we are always happy at these places, so why not enjoy?

It's all about dining for us also. While we like to mix it up, when staying at Old Key West, we always hit Olivia's 2-3 times for breakfast each visit (Great food, Great value).
At Boardwalk, we often visit ESPN Club more than once because there's sporting events we want to watch, plus their food is great.
If you have places in WDW you love, why not go more than once?

We never do the same restaurant twice in the same trip, except for breakfast at whichever hotel we are staying. We have been known to have at least one lunch or dinner at our base hotel, as well.

That said, there are restaurants at which we ALWAYS eat each trip. Cosmic Ray's is a MUST at Magic Kingdom. Always eat at Sci-Fi Dine-In at Disney Hollywood Studios. Always eat at Flame Tree BBQ at Animal Kingdom. Otherwise, we're generally somewhere else.

We rarely eat at the same place more than once per trip because it's fun to try out new places. We do always eat at Tony's on our first night, though.

But I think if you really enjoy the place and can afford it, then do it!

There are a few places I enjoy eating at every trip (including CP, CM, and LTT when it had characters). However, I very rarely eat at a place more then once during single trip.
