How long for FL expansion?????

No kidding! I'm going to go tell my wife right now that I'm just moving down there to be their Construction Manager.
Now that we've been given this fantastic news and concept art, how long do you think it'll take to complete? And when do you think the constructions will start???
I'm thinking it will take 12-18 months and will start in either late 2011 or Jan 1, 2012.
I assume all of FL will be closed for this the entire time which would really stink for first timers!
Construction will be underway around Jan 2010. Mermaid and FL done by 2012, with Pixie Hollow to be done by 2013.

Knowing some about the inner workings of Disney, I would expect to see changes as early as this spring. They will be very quiet and small, but all in preparation to allow and quick and easy transition. You know the new railings they just put up around the fountain in Epcot? It'll be changes just like that. Probably around April, but thats a stab in the dark.
And well before that Im sure we will start having pics of cranes, trucks and material in general as they prepare. :ROFLOL:

And of course that will mean a absloute slew of threads here covering every possible aspect of such ( with photos and map layouts...). Remember the ball we all had with 'Wand Watch' and ' Castle Mirror Coverage'??

How big is the plot?
The PLOT seems to measure about 460,000 sf or about 10.5 acres
