Even though I don't I would rather have people avoid the pavilion like the plague that way with nobody going TDO would be forced to overhaul JII!!

So you rather have an empty building with HISTA there, and or an empty building like WOL and the Odyssey?

Sometimes people want empty space put to use instead of just sitting there like WOL. And now some people want an empty building?

I somewhat see what you're saying. You're looking at the bigger picture of 5 years down the line, will EO still be there or replaced by HISTA again. You would rather have a new JII and 3d show. I think and hope that EO will be replaced by a new show, and hopefully JII will get its refurb soon after too.

Think for yourselfer
Just what we need in future world. A 20 year old film being passed of as something new and fresh. Awesome job TDO

I find the "it's outdated and doesn't belong in EC" option funny since Epcot Center itself is outdated.

I'm ecstatic EO is coming back. Nuff said.

Yea and this dates it even more a step in the wrong direction.

From what I hear now and I think either Lee or Martin confirmed that HISTA will be coming back afterwards. Yes I want the theater empty just like WOL because I want them to tear it down to expand the ride building and overhaul the JII pavilion!

Heading for the great escape.
its not that your message was "coherent", its the to the point that if you don't like it, we AND wdw don't care. if you don't like dole whips, are you going to skip adventureland? will wdw go bankrupt? we are not telling you your opinion is wrong, you just are the most aggressive on the board protesting against bringing back EO. i'm in favor of new stuff too, but i sure as hell will take anything over HISTA. if they replaced HISTA with mr toad, i'm sure you would be there in a second even though it is "retro". as far as having one less thing to do in epcot, shouldn't you be blaming HISTA for that and not EO?

You are talking nonsense, and at no time have I expressed a desire that anyone should give a monkeys what about what I do or my opinion on anything. Similarly forgive me if I have complete disregard for pish spouted by some no mark on a discussion board, simply because they are upset that someone fails toi share their boy excitement over mediocrity.

If you or any other greeting face harridan dont like what I post use the ignore feature. I wont feel insulted.

Wow so many MJ fanboys in here. The man was a complete pervert and if you believe otherwise then his PR team did a good job of brainwashing you to think just that. Yes he may have been cleared of all charged but as others have said, so was OJ and we all know hes far from innocent. Just because we have a justice system in place does not mean its flawless.

MJ was a sick individual and has serious mental problems, yes he was a great artist in his hay day, but in more recent years his strange personal life, drug use, body mutilation, and weird sexual fetishes overshadowed the flawless pop star he once was. Just because he has passed does not mean we all should forget how much of a sick ba***rd he was.

First I can prove he used drugs since his death was caused by an accidental overdose. I can also prove his body mutilation, look at some of the old stock photos of him, there are a few where his nose was actually falling off. He had a serious addiction to plastic surgery, and it got to the point where it mutilated body parts. I remember reading an article interviewing a plastic surgeon who said MJ no longer had a functioning septum, he just had a prosthesis holding his nose in place. :brick:

I was a huge fan of his early work done in the late 70's and early 80's(Off The Wall and Thriller), but the rest of his stuff was not all that good.

EDIT: Look I'm not trying to start a debate about whether he was innocent or not of child molestation, I'm simply stating that even the numerous allegations of what he did should be enough for Disney to keep their distance from his estate.

None of this is relevant to why it shouldn't come back and none of it proves he was a pervert or molestor like you said. It proves he was weird and name me 10 celebs that have never had drug problems, it will be hard to do.

See the last line of my post, I'm saying the simple dark cloud that surrounds his reputation (numerous allegations of molestation, strange personal llife, etc..), should be enough for Disney to keep their distance and not have any sort of association with MJ.

No there are reasons that EO should not come back but none of these are one. 95% of celebrities have this dark cloud if Disney conducted business in the way you suggest they would go out of business.

It is true. If MJ was convicted there is no way they would have brought it back.

As stated on another thread, unless they upgrade the film with effects to "modernize" the feel it will be an embarassment for Disney.:hammer:

By the way, why wouldn't they open EO in Disneyland only where it would receive the biggest crowds?

I'm not an MJ fanboy, but I am glad his show is returning. Screw all that other ish because the show has nothing to do with that. Its about his talent. You can believe what you want about him, but when it all falls down, the dude was a talented individual. So lets see him in that light, and bring on EO. :sohappy:
