Hey are you guys up on the latest Disney contest? I can't remember the details exactly but you send in a video about why you should be the "ambassador of magic" or something and if you win they send you to the parks randomly throughout the year to do your "job".

I can't do it.:(

I'm not free to do that. I have a full-time job I need to keep, so my availability is limited as is. And if I'm going to be working all the time, I want to do something I really like.

Ah, now I see. Well, good luck! I hope it works out.

well, I haven't been to Universal in 6 years and he hasn't been in longer...and since it would be just a day, it's not too bad. Although I can't decide which park I'd like to go to, if we decide on Universal. I like them both for totally different reasons, but have done less at IOA. I will do more at IOA this time if we go.

Well, you will have fun no matter what...it is good just to get way together.

I've actually never been to Universal. Is that bad?

So, speaking of jobs, I'm thinking of getting a part time job at Old Navy.

The thinking is this...I really want to get out of debt. If I work part time there, and apply it all to the cc debt, we'll get out of it much quicker. Plus, can you say "employee discount"?

The downside is I have zero fashion sense and the only clothes of theirs that fit me are the kids XL. But hey, I am really good with people and people LOVE me. RIGHT???

Nah...Universal isn't too bad. It's just not as well kept as Disney. They do have one of the best rides in all of Orlando with Spiderman. That ride is really cool.

Contrary to what many people on these boards believe (even though a few of them haven't actually stepped foot inside a Uni park  ), Universal Orlando is really quite a fun place. Thrills, themeing, shows... the place really is a lot better than a few Disney fans rate it.

My dream vacation consists of someday doing Disney, Universal and Sea World in one shot. :D

(Well, even though my dream LIFE consists of taking up residence within said area. :lookaroun )

I agree. That ride is awsome! I also enjoy Hulk. And I would like to try Dueling Dragons this summer, if I am able to get over there.

BLASPHEMER!
I knew you all were gonna say that.

Not too soon for me, but too soon for WHF. I'm actually surprised he wants to go down now. It's only been 4 months since we were just there. Which is why I was thinking of Universal or something different.

And since we don't know if our next trip will be a Disney cruise or another trip in Sept or a trip somewhere else completely...I don't want to Disney him out.

Hello everyone!

Someone mentioned going to Disney, Universal, and SeaWorld all in one trip...I want to do that after Abby finishes 8th grade. It will probably take that long to save up the money for it, although we would probably not stay on Disney property so that will make it affordable.

Hey Jenny!

I would love to be able to do that too, if I had a car that is.:lookaroun
