Tell more...
What did they think of you?

The Casting Center is an awesome place. You walk in and there are these golden statues of characters around the walls and then you go through this hallway of Disney murals. I was in awe. The pre-employment video was all magical. The actual interview itself wasn't all that. I didn't have to do anything to win them over. It seemed like as long as I wasn't a covicted felon, I was in. It was actually kind of a letdown, I wanted to speak more about my love of Disney. It was more like "What would you like to do? What's your availability? Here's my card."

Not very magical, but at least they get right to the point.
Okay, so...you're in! Just as soon as someone else is out. :lookaroun

Okay. That's not so bad.
Do they know what jobs you're interested in?

Yah, I told them character attendant. They forwarded my application to Entertainment and I'm on their list. I have my recruiter's number in case I want to switch to something else. Right now, I'm wondering if this is really better for me or if I should go into Attractions. I figure this would be more fun but you go all over the place. That could make it hard to make friends. Attractions, while repetitive and sometimes dull, keeps you in one place with the same people. It's much easier to make friends in there. Gah!

If you told the recruiter you were interested in Attractions, would you have a better shot at getting in there sooner? Once you're in you could always look into moving around.

Wondering what? Whatever it is I didn't do it.:lookaroun

J/K! It's good to see you, I've just been so busy.

Joanna, I hate to admit this but for the first time in my life I'm rooting for the Giants. Don't tell anyone.
Hey...whatever you're feeling guilty about...:lookaroun

That is a hard decision. While I love being an attendant, it might be easier to make friends doing attractions.

:ROFLOL::ROFLOL:Don't worry, your secret is safe with me.

aw!!! Yay!!!

I know, is that crazy or what? She's so excited. Can someone please explain to me how this happened??? I mean it seems like yesterday I was 30 and if someone had told me then that there would come a day where I did the "loose tooth dance" around the living room I would have spit my beer in their face from laughing so hard.

Anyways, what's up with y'all? What have I missed?

Well, for me it was new SIL drama, but I think we've patched things up, so I'm now ready to move on. Oh! And I'm going to Florida in Feb and we're all going to see Bunny again in April!
