Hello Nibbs. How are you doing today and how was your weekend?

I'm doing fine. Just eating some pumpkin bread that my grandma made.

My weekend was good. Went to dinner with my brother on Sat. Went to Applebee's and got their 3 Course Meal. Their dessert shooters are good! Then yesterday I did absolutely nothing. WHF and I sat around the house in our pjs all day and watched football. :lol: (Sorry bout the Cowboys). We did take the lights off the house and I took the tree down though.

Weekend was good except for the Cowboys. But ate and ate alot and cracked more pecans and took down the outside lights. Nothing much.:shrug:

I used to have squirrels or chipmunks or something running around in my walls at my old apartment. I would hear them scampering every once and a while and my cat would just go nuts!!

Weekend was good except for the Cowboys. But ate and ate alot and cracked more pecans and took down the outside lights. Nothing much.:shrug:

Sorry about the Cowboys...that was a hard game to watch.

So was the Indy game actually. Both were really similar in scoring.

I know how the mind not shutting off is. It can drive you nuts.

I think it is mice. DH thinks it is squirrals. It doesn't sound that big. I think since we had a bumpper crop of pecans whatever it is got the pecans and made our walls it's home.

Yeah I watch most of that game. That was a tough one to watch.

I don't know what is in my walls at this point in time. I set mouse traps up last night hoping but nothing.

Mice are really hard to get out of walls. They almost have to die in there. And they smell when they die.

I didn't know those worked on mice...but I guess they would.
Actually, truthfully, I'm not sure what mothballs do....I just know they smell icky.

Susan, I don't know if you're still there...but when we heard scampering in our family room ceiling we had exterminators put some kind of poison up there. The animals would eat it but wouldn't die till they got back to their nest :shrug:. So far I haven't heard any scampering this winter...maybe we've scared all the animals away. :lookaroun

Well, I can't really remember what we paid him, but it wasn't all that much. However, our ceiling in the FR is a drop ceiling :hurl:, so it was just a matter of moving a couple of panels over to put the traps in. I want to change it to a drywall ceiling in the worst way, I just need to make sure we would have plumbing access in one section of it.

I hope everyone is having a good day. I spent the morning with my mom getting Joel's birthday present :sohappy:, then we went to lunch. It's been ages since we've done something together.
