I can see them holding off on a pan refurb until new fantasy land is open. I bet you all would be complaining even more than u already do now if It was down for a long rehab along with the new fantasy land...
from my understanding when the bathrooms are complete by pan the old ones that are back in the corner will be turned into an interactive que so probably then pan will get a refurb

I noticed on Monday that some attention has been paid to the mummy scene in The Great Movie Ride. There's some color in it and there is a lot more movement. Does anyone know when this happened?

Aye. Disney copied it, they just moved it to a canyon. But is has all the same stuff. Earthquake, moving props, flood, a truck and explosion. It's one of the most shameful Disney ripoffs (along with the new Fantasyland butterbeer).

I'm a fan of both resorts, by the way. But I can also see their faults.

maybe the backlot tour "refurb" is for demolition? lol

if that were the case i think i would actually miss it, it has alot of the background of disney. i would be sad to see it go. in my opinion i dont really understand why we even have the play area. im keeping my fingers crossed that DHS gets carsland and finally puts an end to the car show.

100% agree with you on that one but I've seen a lot more repetition on Uni's side than the other way around. Most notably, fastpass, pins and vacation club.

Actually, pins as-is were sold at Universal before Disney, not the other way around.

And Vacation Club? Universal doesn't have a DVC equivalent...

Pins have been sold at the Walt Disney world resort long before universal even opened

The Backlot Tour takes up such a huge portion of the Studios Property, and yet it has been allowed to fall into such a sad state of affairs that it is now firmly in the "skip list" when we visit the Studios. TDO needs to either just give up on the ride, or restore it.

Having the Backlot Tour in this condition is worse then not having it at all.
