I want to say they need to hurry up, but I guess I can't control it. They need to destroy that A.I. gizmo or whatever it is, but again, I have no control of it.

AI is tool just like all other technological advancements that have happened over the last 100+ years of Hollywood.

Adjustments will be made just like every other time things like this come up.

I hope so. I hope this Hollywood strike ends next month. 😢

I give up! I guess the strike is going to last forever. It’s the end of Disney and Hollywood.😢

I’m sorry Disney Irish, but the AMPTP are not trying. Their stupid and hopeless.

How do you know the AMPTP are not trying?
Have you read their latest proposal or are you just basing it on the tweet from the WGA?

Deadline has what the AMPTP is offering -

It seems to address almost everything that the WGA wants addressed. They also say that both sides will be meeting again.

To me it seems like the WGA forgot the first rule of negotiation, you don't always get everything you want; you have to be willing to give up on certain points in order to get the things you want the most.

This is not the end of Hollywood or Disney.

It’s a misdirection…outs and back doors all over the offer.

The WGA is right to reject

I did see the “gruesome threesome”
Are rhe negotiating committee with the WGA?

Its a Hollywood contract, of course there are going to be out clauses and other stuff written into it. Even if AMPTP gives in and gives WGA everything they want doesn't mean there wouldn't still be out clauses and other stuff written into it, its called Show Business after all.

The WGA is right to reject
Reject too many times and the rank and file ain't going to be none too happy, its the quickest way to get fired as the head of the union. Its a balancing act in every negotiation, which is why rule number one is always be willing to give up on certain points in order to secure the points that are most important to you. WGA leadership seems to have forgotten this and expect 100% of everything or no deal.

So you’re saying it’s a step in the right direction with these negotiations?

Whatever that strategy was for their big meeting between studio chiefs and the WGA, it hasn't gone over well.

Because of the storm.
Hollywood types can't strike in a mild rain storm otherwise this happens
