2-day base ticket is $250
2-day Hopper is $325

$75 for length of stay. There is no "per day" pricing on Hopper.
Ok…you see the math difference, correct? It is a variable price per day.

April 29
1 day..$139
Hopper…$204

It does Drop over time.

And just to be clear…for you and the “Wizard of Charts”….I’m relaying that the sale of hoppers/plus are down significantly. And if you deconstruct it…it makes sense based on the flow - or lack of - in this case.

Too many roadblocks.

But don’t expect chapek to do a press conference or earnings call on it. Which of course is the only way we ever get anything factual, right?

Well they have had a lobbying office in Washington since the 90s when they would pay for Newt Gingrich and his wife to come on down for a vacation. Their Copywrite lobbying has effected consumers more than anything. Hell Disney was anti union himself back in the 40s.
Copyright law is directly relevant to Disney. Hospitality and tourism taxes in Florida are directly relevant to Disney. Casino zoning regulations are directly relevant to Disney.

I have no objection to them expressing opinions (and spending money) on issues that matter to the company. But I don't need them to take a public position about public school curriculum or the Afghanistan withdrawal. It's not their lane.

Is anyone really fit to be a CEO when they get promoted to one? At the very least this experience seems to have taught him the relevance of Disney's core values and the vital importance of supporting the Cast Members.

We can only hope. Honest.

Missteps can be expected in the first year. After that, you should have a grasp on what the job entails. Oh wait... It must have been Covid's fault. 😂

Something about $lappie and The Weatherman not getting along? Vague memory of something like that at one time...

Up to the minute coverage...

Well this is certainly something...

Disney is in uncharted waters. From 1984 to 2020, the company had only two CEOs: Michael Eisner from 1984 to 2005 and Bob Iger from 2005 to 2020. Now Bob Chapek, with two years in the job, is facing a staff revolt and insiders are speculating about his longevity in the job and who might succeed him (entertainment chief Peter Rice and ex-CFO Tom Staggs would seem to be favorites). His contract is up in 11 months.
Tom Staggs is back???
