They might just not have updated the calendar yet for the shows. I know that the Festival of the Lion King will stop on 1st of September to prepare for Let's Get Wicked, but don't know how long that will be for. The AP Halloween night events are on 13th and 14th of September, but I don't know if Let's Get Wicked will start earlier than that. I wouldn't think all three shows would be closed at the same time.

Also, for the person who asked about the Mystic Manor scaffold, the manor was still covered as of last Wednesday.

The Halloween event at the park this year will run from 13th September to 31st October.

The line-up is pretty much the same as last year:
Let's Get Wicked
House of De-Vil
Halloween Parade with Mickey & Friends and Duffy & Friends in Halloween costumes
Nightmare Before Christmas theme show in the River View Cafe
*For the first time heroes and villains will appear together: Snow White & Evil Queen, Queen of Hearts & Alice, Thor & Loki and Aurora and Maleficent, and maybe more for meet and greets.

Would a waterpark like Volcano Bay or Typhoon Lagoon be popular at the resort?

I don’t believe they are allowed go build one because ocean park has one and LegCo controls what each park can build so that they have diverse offerings

It’s why the Scandinavian port idea for the original expansion that becomes mystic point/GG/TSL got knocked back, because ocean park already has an arctic themed zone

Has anyone been to the park recently

Have they made a start on the TOT yet or any sort of groundwork

Considering even before D23 HK said they were moving with the shovels

Im just back from a trip to all three asian resorts, so if anyone has any questions let me know!
I'd love to hear about attendance levels. I visited twice in the past and pretty much anything was a walk on, every time. I will be going again in about three weeks and was wondering if Frozen and the other new stuff (since my last visit, I mean) have had any impact in terms of how busy the parks get? Also, is the dining package for Momentous worth the price at the Explorers Club Restaurant?

Keep checking wait times on the app periodically (we do!)

We found the Momentous dining package well worth it. Good view, great food and great value for money.

It’s a truly amazing experience. Assuming you’re English speaking you should get some help from your server since the spiels are in Mandarin and Cantonese (we had a lovely chat with the manager which included the reason for this after our dinner)

Thanks. Yes, we're English speaking (coming from NYC). Looks fun!
I'm using my DVC points for a stay at the HKDL Hotel, which is great.

You’re in for a treat. Aside from no quick serve / grab and go - aside from the fridge in the store - it’s a perfect hotel. And quite beautiful.

I also highly recommend the Nightnare Before Dinner dinner show.
I had to chose one of the two. Even though we have park tickets for two days, we only have 7 days in Hong Kong so I wouldn't be able to convince my husband to join me for a full two days. We bought the 2 day tickets in case the weather wouldn't allow for Momentous, so we have an option to return just for that.
