Yes I think a TOT style Spiderman ride is probably the best outcome for everyone (it should also cost a lot less & that can be used on others) I think Avatar is tough for Shanghai unless there's a unique new ride not sure the Shanghai Chinese partner agreeing to having FOP when they have soarin, So it is possible Hk gets it by default but not sure HK has the space to make the land immersive and worthwhile I think 3.3acres isn't enough when frozen took 5acres
I doubt HK can fit pandora TBH like you said, the only possibility would be the grizzly plot with FOP at the back, backing onto the esplanade and even that would still be messy, the land at AK is much bigger I believe

In general as ride show buildings are getting bigger the Hong Kong park with its very limited land is going to struggle even if numbers go up to fit top of the range attractions it’s also why hks best ride actually occupies very little space. I think one is Disney reduces its tree lines where the park is more visible from outside or move technicals buildings off the park site into the 4th hotel spot or the second car park or somewhere.

I’m actually not sure what sort of attraction can go in that land parcel I’m not even sure a modern splash mountain equivalent will fit.

I think from the looks of the old art work it was similar to fop but in marvel style and I guess it didn’t work so the ride was scrapped and replaced with a standard simulation style king thanos ride

Why is the quinjet off the table? It looked so promising. Can’t they go back to that?
It’s not necessarily off the table but all three parks have gone dark on it, WDS skipped over it and is now building frozen, DCA released slightly updated info about some King thanos attraction then also went dark and is now discussing Disneyland forward and HK hasn’t mentioned it since 2018

If any park could actually get it off the ground at least one should be building it by now

I think it's off the table to be very honest as you said one of the parks needed to have started construction or updated artwork something we've gotten nothing.

The Avengers ride wasn't announced to be coming to WDS. But yeah, we don't know the status of the ride at the moment. Personally, I'm inclined to believe it will come eventually.

I’m 99% sure quinjet was coming to avengers campus in WDS

It was always coming to 3 resorts wasn’t it

Probably because AC was announced to be coming to the three resorts and it's also been YEARS since the initial announcement 💀

I guess Paris does have RNRC as an e ticket so it’s not like it’s as bad as HK’s avengers campus but yeah it’s definitely a matter of the announcements being so long ago

It also points to another messy problem of HK, it’s the only avengers campus that can’t stand on its own without quinjet

Stark Expo is much stronger than Avengers Campus as a concept. I also like the fact that it's part of Tomorrowland. Once it gets it's major E-Ticket, it will probably be the strongest iteration of any Marvel land.

Edit; I don't like Ant-Man, but I DISLIKE Avengers Campus, especially DCA's (which I admit probably has the best Marvel attraction).

I think the HK park just needs to make the decision now is the time especially as the parks having a moment with the local crowd. Announcing something will help push the park more especially if it’s something positive. Marvel is very popular in HK. I think if the avenger ride is not happening then just do the TOT Spider-Man (which I also assume will take less time than a quinjet attraction.

The parks biggest weakness is thrill rides and the park desperately needs to add that to its arsenal of rides to attract local teens 3-4 rides isn’t enough

Stark Expo just has a okay ride and a bad ride now, I think HKDL really needs a real great headliner to complete Stark Expo, I’m so doubtful that Spider-Man’s theme TOT will be good enough to make Stark Expo stand up as a own land.
If HKDL decide build Spider-Man TOT instead quinjet ride, I also feel curious that Spider-man TOT how to match with Stark Expo concept. I just not want Stark Expo will be end up with full of so-so attractions.
