This week is my favorite time to go. This time last year we were there 8/29-9/9 and it was wonderful, no crowds. Same thing the year before. Have fun wish we were there again but we have to wait til November this year.

Yes
good to know the lines are finally down. Now I am free to go to the parks for fun again. During the summer I just stay away. It's not worth fighting the crowds AND the heat.

I hear TSM was 10 minutes yesterday at DHS

Enjoy the trip, glad to hear you don't have crowds to fight as I'm going up in a month when it will hopefully be just as quiet.

Is the centralized fastpass just not being run, or are they done with the trial period? I'm curious purely for selfish reasons as I collect fastpasses, and the fact that they're not linked will be incredibly helpful.

It's always slow. Resort load levels have been slow this week, but likely will pick up a bit this weekend.
September is the slowest month of the year.

That's why they started free dining ... and pushed the start of MNSSHP to BEFORE Labor Day Weekend (embarrassing) ... and pushed the start of Food and Wine into the month as well.

If you don't mind the lousy weather and the early park closings, it's actually a great time to visit.

Ya I was there 2 years ago around early September, and the crowds were pretty much non existent. It was great because I never seen WDW like that and probably never will again, or atleast not anytime soon. It was so nice to walk right into Space mt. and literally walk all the way up to the cm who asks how many. I remember riding ToT so many times, I almost got tired of it lol.

Hope it continues to be that way and continue to have a great trip.

Crowds and weather combination sound great.....I went this time 4 years ago and it was packed and HOT! but glad its the opposite for you. I started going around the last two weeks of October to first week November depending on my schedule and usually stay around 10 days or so...the weekends are crowded...weekdays are light and the weather is always pleasant if not downright cool in the mornings....be there myself on Oct. 31 this year, this will make my 29th trip since 1994, yea alot of 2x a year in the beginning..but paired it down to once a year now, lol.... and its always fun!!!!!!!...enjoy....

Does anyone know how the crowds are in mid October I will be there the 15-23 Thanks:)

It will be very nice for you...should have little wait on most rides and those that do get a fast pass....grab the fast pass early for the ride you really want or the longer wait times and head off and enjoy the park...you will like the weather at that time it should be very pleasant....

Lets keep this light crowd thing working... Getting there a week from tomorrow. This way we do MK Thurs, Epcot Fri, MGM (4ever!) Sat while (hopefully) everyone's at MK and Sun is AK while everyone is (hopefully) at Epcot! Somehow I see our strategic plans backfiring, lol.

Woot woot! Can't wait! 1st trip for me and the b/f together! Yayeeee! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
