Here until Sept 5 and haven't seen crowds. AK was walk-on land today for every attraction. Weather has been largely great. Afternoon showers last two days, but didn't affect our touring. You. Can see effect of Free Dining on TS places, but not crowds. Lots of newbies who didn't make adr looking for in-park meals.
They stopped doing centralized Fastpass today, but it wasn't needed.

We were there 8/19-29 and found the only spots with crowds were Soarin, Toy Story Mania & Test Track. Wait times were almost always overestimates. CS eateries were uncrowded as well.

ditto for MK

Worst line of the day, Peter Pan at 30 min.... Everything else less than 10 min if any wait at all. I love this time of the year (if it was only cooler)

5pm storm wiped out a large percentage of folks who were in. I'm running into a lot of folks who are here for their first trip ever....

I agree that there are a lot of first trippers. We're heading to Epcot today and will be trying Teppan Edo for first time. Daughter is doing BBB today to prepare for 6th birthday tomorrow with Castle breakfast.

Weather and crowds both sound great!
I hope it holds true for the end of the month when we're down there (although I expect a slight upturn in crowds due to the F&W Fest. which begins on the 25th).

And for those going at the end of Sept., we'll be bringing plenty of first-timers!

Don't worry though - they'll be in good hands! :D

Just because someone didn’t make adr’s doesn’t make them a newbie. I don’t like to be kept to a schedule and rarely make adr’s. When I’m ready to eat I’ll go where ever is available.

Awwwww I'm usually there this time of year, i love September, pleasant weather, next to no lines and a nice bit of FL sun before winter kicks in the UK.

This is my first time since 2002 that I'm not there at September. I'm starting to get Pixie Dust shakes.

Good thing I'm planning a 4 week holiday for next christmas instead now tho to balance it all out!

I don't get why they don't hold like 10 or 20% of reservations for the day of so people can actually eat in the park, that way you don't anger the daily guests and they can get into the TS places.

THis brings a smile to my face...Three weeks 'till we're there...Hopefully the crowds stay away...:drevil:
