What's the sitch? KP and Ron Stoppable are now at the Studios! FYI, for those wondering why Ron has brown hair and not blonde, KP took Ron to some new hair salon to change his look so he could get all the chicks. Unfortunately, Ron wasn't too crazy about the change and should be going back to blonde very soon! Enjoy!

EDIT: I have taken the pictures down since some people have decided to criticize rather than praise my friend who was Ron Stoppable in the pictures. Apparently he has gotten criticized personally for having "Bad Show" for not having blonde hair, and honestly to those people, it wasn't his choice to be put out w/o blonde hair, it was the company's. So now, congrats to those who have seen the pics, and sorry to those who won't because of other people's actions.

Ron definitely needs to be blonde. It doesn't work as well when he's not.

I'm not against making them face characters, but Im not liking the costumes, or much of anything really at this point. Theres room for improvement....

They look like two regular joes right now. I wouldnt have guessed thats who they were trying to portray!

Thanks for the info and the pics! My kids will be ecstatic when we go in 2 weeks! I don't know that I would have gone with face characters (KP looks alot like Ariel), but I beg the people of Disney to at least make Ron a blonde!!!

be assured... costumes are gettin slight modifications... ron will be blonde too... these are out for training purposes so that as soon as the new costumes, hair stylings are available, the daily operations of sets can begin. expect them some time in november.

personally, i dont see that much of a difference btw the costumes and the artwork... even the balooning of the pants on the bottom is accurate... you've got to admit, they are pretty accurate designs...

i for one disagree with the concensus that they shoulda been plastic heads... i think the interaction and fluidity of movement of a real person will create a more realistic moment for the guests. and, by makeing them face, the opportunity to utilize them in live action shows are greater... cuz really, u wanna see kim and ron runnin around, not just standin there cuz the costumes/heads limit their range of motion.

curious... would u guys ratehr see hercules... or meg... or any of those kinds of characters be plastic heads? (meg is VERY similar to kim, in terms of shape of face.) cuz they are drawn similarly, very cartoonish, not entirely realistic faces... but they are represented as face characters, for the better... my theory is that the incredibles and the toy story are plastics b/c they are computer animated characters-- meant to be a certain proportion, and the plastic is the most effective means of replicating that cg feel... the hand drawn "real people" end up as face b/c its a more forgiving transfer. sure there are some exceptions... (Lilo, smee, hook- maybe its the likelihood of findin ppl that determines them...) just a theory. but in any case, i personally think a plastic head kim and ron would frankly be scary... we're talkin universal's rugrats scary...

and rufus is present, in teh backpack... but its a plush, so really, do u wanna see a static rufus like that? better for ron to say he's holdin down the fort back at bueno nacho... and there was a costume designed for a short person, lets jsut say thanks to rufus' skin tone, u prolly wouldnt have wanted ur kids to take a picture with that thing...

I think the costumes are fine, but the hair (for both of them) really does need to be changed. I look forward to seeing the finished product.

Because why on EARTH would they put these out for a show that's been cancelled?

Sigh...if half of Toontown at DL is still stuck with DA references, I guess this can pass...
