Have you noticed the lack on maintenance ?

My comment has to do with my view that you are wearing Disney glasses , not to see these issues in every park.
If it came across as harsh, I apologize, it was meant as a metaphor.

No you don't apologize anymore than the other "gentleman" that said I was blind.
The fact of the matter is that if someone does not share your view of the situation
you feel you have the right to be insulting. You don't.

Ok.
Yes I honestly can't fathom how anyone who claims to go to WDW on a regular basis does not notice these hundreds of issues, growing every month at parks across WDW.
Tongue in cheek conversations happen all over the internet. Get used to them. This is not mr.rogers neighborhood.
Did you happen to see the uproar your statements caused in this post. Backlash, it was for a reason.
We all see these issues, more importantly we are tired of paying hyper premium prices for a lower and lower premium experience. Plain and simple.

Then stop. Don't go to WDW anymore. Stop paying the hyper premiums if you don't feel it is worth it. Plain and simple.
Otherwise stop whining about things not changing, unless you are doing something to have the changes made.
You will notice a number of posts mentioned they notice something, spoke to someone and it was corrected. Another
post mentioned lights out and he thought about writing a letter. Which do you think worked? Do you think by having
a bunch of people agree with you and shooting down anyone that disagrees with your view is accomplishing anything.
By the way, I know this is not Mr. Rogers neighborhood and it still doesn't excuse you from being a rude idiot.

Your last sentence puts you right in that same camp. If you had just said " it doesn't excuse you from being rude" you could have maintained the "high ground" . Calling him an idiot makes you no better than him or me.

Conversely, stop whining (as you put it) that you don’t see things that countless others do. Maybe realise if you’re in the tiny minority it might be you that’s got it wrong.

Just as a possibility.

Yes.....don't complain about something that is not right.
Perfect sense.....compliancy.
Your posts are starting to really make sense now.
If you don't like it...then don't go.
Do you understand how changes happen?
It is not with your attitude.

It takes one to know one.....I apologized and you threw it in my face.
Its not my fault you don't like metaphors and are far too sensitive for an internet forum.

I agree. You are 100% correct. Sometime though the annoyance is a bit much. The fact is I was trying to say, nothing is getting done,
but just complaining here about this. I have not seen a number of the items people have mentioned and we have heard from a number
of people if you do "complain" when you are there, things often get taken care of.

Just so you and others are aware.
This and other Disney forums are monitored by actual Disney marketing employees.

Do you honestly think that you will get a faster response to a problem by making a comment on a discussion
board, or going to a front desk and telling them you have a problem? Even if Disney employees are monitoring
these discussion, do think they read, "there are lights out at the Grand Floridian" and ran out and took care of it?

Many, many, many things are reported via proper channels. The minority do get fixed. I’ll be the first to say I had a non approved projection removed in SSE. I got the BGM playing again in the Imagination bathrooms. I got the ALD systems in World Showcase looked at. To name a few. I may have slightly different methods but I do something proactive.

But far more things go unfixed. Aside from the fact it’s not our jobs to tell them when something is broken.

Does the word true customer satisfaction mean anything to you...........
Everything is all about percentages.
We are not just complaining to ourselves here.......
That is WHY some of us vent.

What do you base this comment on? Do you have anything that would back it up?

If you saw what was not working yourself you wouldn’t have to ask. But you’d also have to know what they would be like when operable. When did you last see the stars above Alpha and Omega load stations all working? For example.

Do us all a favour - if you don’t understand, just go back to your bubble.

So you don't know what has been reported and you don't know it there was a response after it was reported.
Stop just spouting unsupported statements and I will go back to my bubble.

Christ. I’ve given you examples. ToT for one. I’ve explained how it got batted back. I reported the FoN having multiple issues. Ten years ago. Nothing got done. I reported the shocking state of Space Mountains audio. Nothing got done.

Either stop being so ignorant and join in the conversation, or take your obtuse, eyes and ears shut attitude and multiply away.

Material things getting fixed and maintained is one thing, but we witnessed the "basics" totally falling off on our last visit one month ago. I went into the men's bathroom in Hollywood Studios along the Strip, and it was a mess. Dirty, raunchy toilets, baskets overflowing, and towels all around the floor. It almost looked like it was vandalized. However, when my wife and daughter used the bathrooms on Main Street Square, they both came out saying that it was the worst they have ever seen in years. Dirty diapers sitting out, overflowing baskets, and totally unkempt stalls. I know they used to fill a majority of those positions with college program kids so maybe the staff is extremely stretched. Very noticeable. When you walked into the front gate of any Disney park it was a given that it was going to be a different world where quality went above and beyond. When we used those bathrooms on our last trip, we felt like we were at Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey or using a public restroom on the Wildwood Boardwalk.

My trips to WDW were in 1986, 1989, 1992, 1998, 2000, 2004, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2018, & 2020.
I rode the skyliner in the Magic Kingdom, I was there when the Studios were being built, when Animal Kingdom was new,
as well as the Millenium Celebration, and a number of Marathons. I do have a good period of time to compare the state of
the parks. Next question.

...ok...then you should have noticed the declining standards.

I bet you’re doing that “thing” where you ignore decline on Disney’s part...because it’s your happy place and you feel the need to defend it.

Next you want to defend Disney on Star Wars? 😳

But you can still enjoy it and call it out. I do.

Nothing wrong with Star wars.
