Digging deeper won’t help you get out of the hole you’re in.Again prove it.

Like I said before, show us what you are talking about. I would be very interested in seeing what you are talking about, that
is to a point that it is taking away from the enjoyment of your vacation. So far all I have heard are broad statements that maintenance
is poor and it has been for decades. I have gone to WDW four times in the last 6 years and I have not seen it. I am asking you to show
me what you are talking about.
I am actually more worried about the copious amounts of popcorn lights which are burnt out and have not been replaced over the years. It’s especially bad at the Grand Floridian. I had been trying to count the exact number of bulbs out along the roofline to send Disney a firmly worded letter of disgust; however I discovered that Disney frowns upon bringing personal crane rentals on property. I am very observant about these things and without properly documenting and reporting it I wouldn’t be able to enjoy anything.I received an e-mail about the Yeti
What hole? I am not trying to prove anything. You are making the statements, supposedly backed up by thousands of people,
yet you have no proof. I did receive an e-mail on the Yeti. That would be a good example and there is plenty of photographic
evidence. Disney however has addressed why that is not being fixed. If you are trying to say the railings going into a ride have
a dent in them, and that is taking away from the enjoyment of your vacation, suck it up, you are much too sensitive.
I don’t think affecting “your enjoyment” is the goal at all.
If this topic is not on your radar...then that’s ok and doesn’t affect you...nor should it.
But attention to detail, lowering of training and hiring standards, less staffing, and cutting budgets for routine maintenance are all real things that have occurred over time. There’s no one iPhone pic that “proves” or “disproves” it. But if you want to disregard the employees or more experienced observers...that is your right.
You said you went 4 times in 6 years...did you go in 1985? 89? 94? Couple of times in 97-98? 2000? 2004?
...because that’s the frame of reference. No one has to prove history...it happened as it happened.

Does your guide dog notice the lack of maintenance ?My trips to WDW were in 1986, 1989, 1992, 1998, 2000, 2004, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2018, & 2020.
I rode the skyliner in the Magic Kingdom, I was there when the Studios were being built, when Animal Kingdom was new,
as well as the Millenium Celebration, and a number of Marathons. I do have a good period of time to compare the state of
the parks. Next question.
We all thought it. You said it.Does your guide dog notice the lack of maintenance ?
The bartender at the pool bar was very receptive to my popcorn light dilemma as he continued to pour me $24 glow cube Mai Tais.If there are a "copious" amount of bulbs out at the resort, why wait to write a letter. Go to the front desk and say something.
Waiting to write a firmly worded letter, that was never written does nothing.
Its called reading the thousands if threads.......prove it to yourself.Again prove it.
Believe me many have done.If there are a "copious" amount of bulbs out at the resort, why wait to write a letter. Go to the front desk and say something.
Waiting to write a firmly worded letter, that was never written does nothing.
Wow, you are just so sharp. I mean how can I deal with such a snarky comment.Does your guide dog notice the lack of maintenance ?
I believe people are trying to have a mature discussion but your complete refusal to believe any point of view other than your own is stifling the conversation. Plenty of people have pointed out over numerous threads over a large number of years about the maintenance issues at Walt Disney World. Your refusal to acknowledge them led me to question whether you were visually impaired.Wow, you are just so sharp. I mean how can I deal with such a snarky comment.
It is good to know you can still have a discussion here and a mature back and
forth. Grow up!
Poor quality mattresses
Refrigerators that don’t chill properly and ice compartments that aren’t cold enough to actually keep anyth8ng frozen
Rides that consistently break down - several have been documented in the last fortnight
Animatronics on rides that stop working and not just the Yeti
The People Mover that’s been down since re-opening that they still haven’t managed to fix
Resort pool slides that need to be closed with less than a week’s notice because of urgent maintenance (hint: maintenance is supposed to fix potential problems before they become an issue)
Light bulbs that aren’t replaced
Overflowing litter bins
Poor cleanliness in restrooms
Monorail doors that open mid-ride
Is that enough for you or do you need more?
In all fairness there’s dozens of threads like this with hundreds of participants.Okay in order. If you feel the mattress you are sleeping on is of poor quality, say something and see what happens.
Same with any appliance in your room that is not working. If you are saying you had these problems and nothing
was done, then you have an argument.
In the years I have been to WDW I have not experienced rides consistently breaking down. I have had a ride break
down and was even evacuated from Splash Mountain, but I have not experienced rides consistently breaking down.
Animatronics do tend to wear out and are usually replaced or repaired pretty quickly. (Yes the Yeti is an exception.)
The People Mover is related to the reduced park staff, due to Covid. This is not a usual.
Obviously you experience the pool slide closure. (It may have been inconvenient for you, but it may have been needed.)
How long were they not replaced? On the day you were there? Did you mention it to anyone?
I have never seen an overflowing litter bin at WDW.
Poor cleanliness of restrooms. (Obviously tourists are slobs) Overall I do not find the restrooms unclean, especially considering
the number of people that use them daily. Also if there is a problem mention it, I have, and it is taken care of.
Finally, a good example. That did happen once, a year or two ago. That monorail was immediately taken off the line and repaired.
Have none of you ever had something in your car break? Was it your fault or do things sometimes just break?
That was an excellent effort and much more direct than just trying to say I must not be seeing what you see.
Believe me many have done.
As an example for trying to get something done - Tower of Terror has numerous show quality issues. So much so that bell hops themselves have tried to take it higher to have something done. They get so far and the managerial door is shut on them.
Maybe everyone else who posts on here is visually impaired ?In all fairness there’s dozens of threads like this with hundreds of participants.
Hundreds of people must be onto something don’t you think?
You may have seen the neon strip on Innoventions east that was broken for 3 years then. It became a running joke between me (a foreigner) and friends who visit WDW every week and notice a lot more at fault that I do.This is exactly what I was asking for. You have proof. You are referencing a specific issue on a specific ride,
and how specific individuals have been trying to deal with it. In this case I would not have experience this
though, Tower of Terror scares the hell out of me.
