I'll try to make this as short as possible not to bore anyone...
I gotta say... perfect in every way.
She didn't really drink which was good because she obviously coulda stayed over (I had two open beds, didn't have to be a... hookup stayover type thing) and I verrrrrry nervously offered that and she laughed and said it was fine... so it was good...
and i got verrrrrrry lightly buzzed, if that... so basically only to take the nerves off
and honestly... we spent like an hour here just hanging out, then hit a bar and spent like 3 hours at the bar... never an awkward moment. Honestly, this girl is awesome. She was so much fun... I had such a great time with her. And ya know how I said her friend told me she plays mind games... she couldn't have been more straight forward and honest with me. It was just awesome.
We left before midnight cuz it was getting packed, loud, and she needed to go home and I didn't want her driving home late.
I treated it as a date obviously, and I'm very glad I did because I was able to go out with a girl thinking it was a date and just have an absolute blast...
We got back to my place and like... I don't know how to be single, so I opened her door for her, she didnt get in right away, so I was like "eh why not" and went in for a kiss, but I don't think it was obvious I did... and she immediately hugged me... I mean, i went in for the kiss but really just moved toward her so she coulda taken it either way... and I said "i had fun, i'd love to do it again sometime if ya want"
and she got a little nervous... and was like "honestly I had so much fun tonight, but I just don't want to give you the wrong idea"
so, I mean if i was like a single guy being a single guy... that'd hurt... but it was just sucha relief for me. I told her I'm glad because I don't either... and I was like... as you know, I just got out of a 7 year relationship like 2.5 months ago... so I just don't want you to think you're like a rebound, because I would never do that to someone... I just had fun and honestly I don't want you to get the wrong idea either...
so i mean... it was really good... it was good because it got put out there basically it wasn't a date, and it was just two people getting to know each other to become friends... and I think her and I could be good friends...
Honestly, she's awesome. We had soooo much in common it was crazy... like I can't tell you how many times she or I said "ME TOO!!!" about EVERYTHING...
so it was... nice.
Just very nice.

Let's put it this way, I had help carrying that basket to the car. :lol: That was a 5 pound bar of chocolate, thank you very much. :dazzle: I'll break it up into manageable portions and freeze for future enjoyment.
I was half afraid I overbid on the thing, but I priced out the fountains when I got home, and think I did OK. I have no idea what that chocolate bar would cost though. :shrug:

Hello lovely peeps.
Took the PSAT early this morning. It was SO much easier this year than last year.
Saw The Secret Life of Bees this afternoon. LOVED IT. Queen Latifah and Jennifer Hudson are like my favorite people in the whole world, so a movie with both of them in it is pure bliss for me. :lol:
I hope Stephie and Adam are having a WONDERFUL wedding today. :kiss:
Time to go back to my Algebra homework. :brick::wave:

Sounds like it went really well! I'm glad you have such a good feeling about it. And now that the "first date" jitters are out of the way the way is clear to get to know each other better (as friends or whatever) without all the nerves.

I hate de-cluttering. I wind up so throwing so much stuff out and then feeling guilty. But if I don't throw it out all I do is move it from one location to another, so it's best to force myself to toss it.
